Steadfast Sonic Speed: A Sonic Fandom Documentary
Project Overview
Stylish and Speedy, Sonic The Hedgehog has been a worldwide pop culture icon since his debut in 1991! Adored by fans all over for his quick wit and rebellious edge, Sonic is a certified gaming legend!
And where there is fame, fans are soon to follow! From the long list of experimental titles that missed the mark, to widespread fandom outrage, to small in-fighting and infamous fandom royalty, Sonic has garnered a reputation for having one of the most notable fandoms in the entirety of internet history. But does this reputation tell the whole story?
Steadfast Sonic Speed is a documentary directed by Frankie Fizzy, also known online as Fizzypop Peaches, with the goal of showing the real story of the Sonic fandom. The good, the bad and the ugly. With years of celebrity interviews under their belt, Frankie Fizzy intends to showcase why so many people love this franchise and why so many have stuck around 30 years later.

As this documentary will feature various fans of Sonic, many of whom would prefer their faces not be shown, we have decided to use artwork and sonas to represent fans in the interviews. In that case, we will need artists to draw the interviewees! Preferably, multiple artists so the workload isn't left to one person. The artist does not have to be a Sonic fanartist, but a familiarity with the franchise is preferable.

A musician who will make background music for the documentary. Due to the documentary being about the Sonic fandom, the soundtrack is imagined to have a "Sonic style and sound". Essentially, fake Sonic background music.
