Courtney Whitmore is a young heroine who adopted the name Star Girl after finding the cosmic staff in her stepdad's belongings. Being the only person able to operate the staff Courtney takes great pride in her role as a hero.

Pat Dugan is the sidekick of the Star-Spangled Kid. He first started as Stripesy for his employer's son Sylvester Pemberton, and then as S.T.R.I.P.E. for his stepdaughter Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl).
Since we were the last ones to bust them, I doubt the injustice society will stay hidden for long. We need to be ready in case they come looking for revenge.
