STAR*FALL- A Kpop English Cover Group!
Project Overview
Hello, and welcome to STAR*FALL!
STAR*FALL is a co-ed, 6- 10 member(depending on interest) Kpop English cover group! We will have two units: 1 boy group unit, and one girl group unit! Each group will be operating separately from each other, each working to produce covers with their unit. This doesn't mean that you will be stuck only performing boy/girl group songs depending on your unit though! We will occasionally do full group covers with all 10 members, and if it fits into our schedule and the members have enough time, members can organize subunits within the group and perform whatever they wish! This is a big project, so not only will we be needing vocalists, we'll also be needing plenty of staff, including mixers, animators/video editors, and artists! We'll definitely also be needing people to help with translyrics, and I'd LOVE to have someone who can help me manage the whole project! If any of this strikes your interest, please keep reading!
First, some rules:
1. Please be kind! This is a big project, and it would be awful if we fell apart because we couldn't get along.
2. Please have a decent mic. It doesn't need to be anything fancy, just no background noise, please!
3. Please please please turn your parts in on time! I totally understand that things happen, and I'm very flexible with deadlines. I just need to know in advance.
4. Please be over 13. I know it sucks, but we do need to have some sort of age limit.
5. Finally, please have Discord. This is what we will be using to communicate.
We will be needing:
- Vocalists & Rappers!
- Lyricists! I can write translyrics, but having more people to work on them would be great!
-Mixers, Animators/Video Editors, and Artists!
-Backup Vocalists! I'd like to have 1-3 backup vocalists if possible who can fill in for missing members and/or record backup vocals if needed! This is a great role to audition for if you don't have a lot of free time but still want to be apart of the project!

Main Vocalists typically sing the hardest lines in a song! If you're super confident in your vocal ability and you want to sing high notes and ad-libs, this is the part for you! Sing your heart out!
Sing at least 45 seconds of any kpop song in English. Pick something that shows off your vocal range, and sing your heart out!

Lead Vocalists are usually just a step behind the Main Vocal in vocal skill. They always have lots of cool high parts to show off their voices, and sometimes they even get to do some of the high notes and ad-libs!

Sub-vocalists usually sing the the verses in kpop songs, but just because they don't get to do any of the high notes, doesn't mean that they're any less amazing! If you're not as confident in your voice, or you just don't want to do all of the high notes, this is a good role for you! Don't worry though: if you're cast as a sub-vocalist, I'll make sure that you still get plenty of lines!

The Main Rapper always has the best flow, and they always get the coolest rapping parts!
If you'd like to audition for a rapper, it would be amazing if you have the ability to write your own raps for our covers. Raps are significantly harder to write translyrics for, since the syllable count matters a lot more. If not, that's ok! The translyricists will just write one for you. But it would be super cool if you could even just replace the rap with your own(presuming it fits the song, of course)!!

Sub-Rappers usually don't have too many rapping lines, and usually act as a sub-vocalist as well. If you would like to audition for this role, please also submit the lines required for sub-vocalists. You don't have to submit two separate auditions, you can just tack the vocal lines onto the end of your recording.
