SPLIT SIGNAL

SPLIT SIGNAL

Project Overview

Split Signal is a character-driven animated thriller following two twin brothers separated at birth and raised on opposite sides of the world.

Malik Jules grows up in Seattle surrounded by power, wealth, and control.

Micah Jules is raised in London, learning survival through instinct, resilience, and perseverance.

For 27 years, neither knows the other exists.

A mysterious voicemail from a father they’ve never met brings them together and sets them on a path toward a truth hidden since birth—a truth connected to a powerful shipping empire, a criminal network, and a man known only as The Ferryman.

As they uncover the past, they find themselves pulled into a dangerous world of secrets, manipulation, and betrayal.

  • “If you’re hearing this, then I failed. Maybe not completely. Maybe you’re still alive because of the choices I made.

  • But I failed all the same. I wasn’t there for birthdays. I wasn’t there when you became men.

  • And I wasn’t there when you needed answers. Everything I did… every terrible decision… was to keep you alive. I only hope one day you understand why.”

  • “People misunderstand power. They think it’s fear. Violence. Control. It isn’t.

  • Power is patience. Power is knowing where somebody is going before they do.

  • You don’t stop a man like Malik Jules. You guide him. You let him believe every decision was his own. And by the time he realises otherwise… it’s already too late.”

Malik’s tech specialist.

Brilliant but anxious.

Audition Tone: Nervous urgency.

  • “Okay. So technically I found what you asked for. But before you get excited, I need you to understand how insane this is.

  • The records don’t line up. The companies don’t exist. Half the shipping routes disappear halfway through the paperwork.

  • I’ve never seen anything like it. Which is exactly why I think we should stop.”

Warm.
Fatherly.
Steady.

Audition Tone: Defensive but caring.

  • “Malik, listen to me. Not every secret was meant to hurt you. Some things stay buried because people are trying to protect what’s left. I know that’s not the answer you want. But sometimes the truth arrives long after the damage is done.”
