Sonic Unleashed and the Better Timeline
Project Overview
This project is just a video essay I feel passionate about actually seeing to fruition. This essay is a brief post-mortem of Sonic Unleashed, why it failed, and the lasting damage said failure had on the franchise to this day. Following this, the essay proposes a hypothetical true sequel, which would have learned from Unleashed as well as its predecessors, and possibly become something truly amazing. This would potentially have set a template for Sonic games moving forward that's actually good. This includes describing mechanics, presentation, gameplay loops, art and sound design and everything in between. The second half is a walk through the game's story much like any SonicTuber's hypothetical Sonic game or "what if", and is where I need the additional voice actors for the Sonic characters.
I will not insult anyone by framing this as "good exposure/practice/etc.", and just be honest. This project lacks a budget given the economy, so this is really only a project ideal for people who just enjoy doing this sort of thing, and have a passion for this franchise.

The narrator will be "reading" the bulk of my video essay's material, and is therefore absolutely the lead role. They will essentially be my voice.

A voice as close as possible to that of Mike Pollock's Dr. Eggman (particularly in the pre-Colors era). This will be a light role, as only part of the essay needs additional voices.

As close as possible to the Jason Griffiths Sonic (but with better delivery if possible, no offense to Jason). This will be a relatively light role, like all but the narrator for this project.

This role is of a "villain of the week" for the story section of this video essay. She is intended to sound calm, collected, logical yet with a hint of emotional imbalance trying to bubble through. She will consistently deliver her lines with an odd intonation.
