Sonic & Mega Man - Worlds Unite Comic Dub Casting Call
Project Overview
Hello everyone, hope you are doing well.
While Sonic and the Sovereigns of the Emeralds is being worked on, I have a little side venture I'd love for you all to take part in. When making an audio drama that is a large Sonic Crossover, why not dub an iconic story that was also a massive Sonic Crossover!
As part of a promise I made for reaching 5K subscribers on youtube, we will be dubbing the Archie Sonic and Mega Man crossover comics. We are well on our way with Worlds Collide. With the first episode's audio completed and the others being actively worked on and I figured it be a good time to open up auditions for Worlds Unite. While the Collide issues drop, we can gather the forces needed for Worlds Unite in a comic dub that thankfully won't implode on itself after casting.
1. YOU MUST HAVE GOOD MIC QUALITY with LITTLE TO NO background noise.
2. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR DISCORD IN YOUR DESCRIPTION, AS THAT WILL BE OUR PRIMARY METHOD OF COMMUNICATION
3. In terms of takes, the maximum amount is 2. While improve is encouraged, be sure to read only the audition lines if you want to be considered for the part!
4. This project is a long term commitment. If casted, PLEASE BE TRANSPARENT about scheduling and deadlines in order for the project to run smoothly.
5. While some of the characters do have pre-established voices, THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE TO DO AN IMPRESSION. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO INTERPRET THESE ROLES TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY. We care more about ACTING than pitch perfect voice matching. If you can manage both, that's awesome! But we are mainly focused on performance.

Voice Actor
Personality: X is the leader of the Mavrick Hunters. He is the successor to the original Mega Man, created by Dr. Light. He is a compassionate, justice-driven robot.

Personality: Zero might seem like a cold and ruthless maverick hunter. But he is a down to earth, sarcastic, and protective reploid. He is strong and skilled, but cool and laid back.

Personality: Axl is a reckless, arrogant, and headstrong robot with an unstoppable will. He has a fondness for battle that gets on the nerves of the other hunters.

Personality: Sigma is an evil, radical, and cruel robot who wants to destroy the imperfect old world and usher in a brand new order where the strong dominate the weak. He is callous and determined to achieve his goals. And even death won't stop him from spreading his malice.

Personality: Comedy Chimp is noted to be very witty and fearless in his comedy, not afraid of making jokes at others' expense. Comedy Chimp appears mostly confident, open and undeterred, and often cracks jokes. In truth however, he keeps some deep insecurities and a lot of unhappiness on the inside.
Voice Direction: Looking for a rough, scratchy but trying hard to be funny and failing.
I don’t know what’s more likely to happen. Sonic Boom Season 3, or a Sonic project on Casting Call Club getting off the ground.

Personality: Due to his profession, Fastidious is calm and formal, but also fussy and uptight. A grammar enthusiast, he has a habit of correcting other peoples' grammar, and often begins his sentences with the word "actually." He also has a peculiar view on books, believing they are for sitting neatly in rows on shelves rather than being read.
Voice Direction: Looking for a mid to high, nasally, and somewhat nerdy voice.

Personality: Gemerl is a protective robot devoted to keeping Cream and her family safe from harm. If push comes to shove, he isn't afraid to use lethal forces to keep his family safe.
Voice Direction: Looking for a mid to low robotic voice.

Personality: Bunnie is fiery but good-natured individual with a firm desire to help save her world from evil and prevent the suffering of others. She is incredibly courageous and self-sacrificing, but not to the point of recklessness; her greatest fear is that something might befall her husband or their friends.

Personality: Xander is, at his core, a man of determination that dips into obsession. Once he sets his sights on something, he goes at it with everything he has. Xander's hatred for robots is also shown to be a consuming factor. It gives him an "us vs. them" mentality that causes him to believe that all humans who aren't with him are against him, making him guiltless in civilian casualties in enacting his schemes.
Voice Direction: I picture him having a mid to low voice that is slightly unhinged but filled with hatred and resentment.

Personality: Chun-Li is a resourceful and dedicated officer of the law with a strong sense of justice. She strongly believes in protecting the innocent and saving the lives of others. She is a highly disciplined, seasoned, and courageous woman, and is often the voice of reason. As an official of Interpol, she takes her work as a cop with pride. Outside of her duty as a cop, she has an elegant, sweet, and feminine personality.
