Sonic Forerunner: New Age | Full Cast Audiobook
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION:
Hello! My name is Wyman Stephenson. I'm an online writer, content creator, and aspiring novelist. This project, 'Sonic Forerunner: New Age,' is a full-cast audiobook roughly based on an existing Audio Drama that was released earlier this year: 'Sonic Forerunner: Fates Divided.' This is a significantly greater expansion/revision of that story, written in a different medium and containing themes of destiny, sacrifice, and that ever-blurry line between good and evil.
CASTING/AUDITIONS:
The Casting deadline is September 27th, 2026. Below are various characters you can audition for, with notes on direction included for a select few. Mic quality doesn't have to be crystal clear, but I strongly recommend minimal background noise and/or static. NO AI IS ALLOWED, AND IF YOU ARE FOUND USING IT, THAT'S AN IMMEDIATE DECLINE.
PROJECT STRUCTURE:
Once casting is complete, all ten scripts for each chapter will roll out! Production will operate on monthly deadlines, giving each VA roughly 30 days to record their lines for the upcoming chapter. Of course, deadline extensions will be provided if life gets in the way of recording sessions. Once all lines are sent, editing will commence, with a chapter releasing every month throughout the Audiobook's duration, ending in a full compilation.
AGE RATING:
Sonic Forerunner: New Age would be considered a soft PG-13. There is no blood, heavy swearing, or NSFW imagery. However, the story does present heavy themes, intense action, and character deaths. Tonally, it takes after the Adventure & Dark Age of Sonic games, more so the latter.

Narrators are to bring this story to life via reading aloud scene descriptions. Up to five will preferably be cast to divide the chapters equally and make monthly deadlines more comfortable.
Narrations would ideally be a blend between professional monotone and emotional inflections depending on the context of the scene.

She lies prone, her standard binocular optics retrofitted with thermal-augmented vision, fixated on a seemingly mundane warehouse fenced off from a rural neighborhood several yards out. Within the worn-down bricked grey building are up to eleven hostels, each brandishing the same Dragon insignia on their left shoulder. Proud thugs operating under an arbitrary symbol created to excuse injustice.
