Smiling Critters Adventures: Nightmare Critter VAs needed!
Project Overview
Looking for Voice Actors to help bring life to the Nightmare Critters and co! In Smiling Critters Adventures, the Nightmares are on more friendly terms with their smiling counterparts and don't partake in constant bullying and harassment like other depictions would. They can cause some mischief but at the end of the day they're critters full of heart and cheer!
-Please provide a Discord username with your audition so I can reach out if you are chosen.
-Simon, Poe, and Allister have all been cast previously and do not need auditions for them.
-Auditions that do not follow the same provided lines will be declined. Recording the same lines helps us compare voices and find the perfect fit easier.
-This is not a paid project.
Voice Actor
Hazel is a therapist who specializes in self-expression and helping shy critters bloom from beneath their petals. She's had prior experience working with Catnap and Bobby, and now that she's moved back to town she's ready to reconnect with her old friends.

Rabie Baby is a fashion forward critter who loves to chat with her friends and is always looking for the juiciest gossip (she calls it news.) Although she does have an issue with trying to snoop in on critters' private lives, she can be a good listener to her more quiet and soft-spoken peers.

Maggie is a goofy yet lovable critter who loves the warm ocean waters and warm good food to share with friends. She can be rather naive and easily duped at times, but she loves hanging out with her friends and makes no judgements when it comes to meeting new ones!

Baba might seem like a quiet critter, but she's got a rich inner life and loves just chilling with some friends at the coffee shop rather than going on a great big adventure. She might come off as distant or aloof and rarely ever raises her tone, but she enjoys the quirks of her friends and fellow goth Poe's talent of close up magic.

Touille isn't afraid to get his hands dirty, that's life as a rat. What he is afraid of though is that his inventions might fail or that something might go awry and get some critter hurt. He can sometimes come off as high-strung but he believes his work will greatly improve the day-to-day lives of critters everywhere.

Icky Licky understands what it means to be a winner. To have the spotlight on you for a day, to have the adoration of your fellow critters. That's why every morning, he wakes up at the crack of dawn and trains, day in and day out, to find the one competition, the one show he's good at, that he can win. Maggie does make good participation awards at least.

Fuchsia is a critter who's bold and confident and isn't afraid to prove her own worth. She might seem arrogant and self-centered at times, but she loves giving others tips on how they can improve so that they can be the best critters they can be. After all, what's the point of being a winner if you didn't work for it?
