SMG4: A Quest to Save Our Friends Fan Movie
Project Overview
SMG4: The quest to save our friends is a fan-made film based of SMG4 the series, and revolves around the gang trying to bring back their dead friends, Axol and Desti, to prevent world destruction at the hands of a mysterious figure pulling the strings from behind the scenes. This film is made for the fans, by the fans, so only true fans are allowed to participate. Your discord handle will be necessary in order to audition, and you will need to be open to constructive criticism and be a true fan of the show.

SMG4 is a YouTuber from Australia with over 10 million subs, who runs the animation studio Glitch Productions, real name Luke Lerdiwichal. You have to sound like Luke himself to qualify, and must also be able to sing in his voice, because we're doing a fan-made War of the Fat Italians at the end. Please refer to any of SMG4's with his voice in it to get a general idea of his voice range, preferably the later videos. Also, please refer to WOTFI 2023's song for the third line.

SMG3 is basically what amounts to SMG4's edgy, mean-spirited counterpart. With plans upon plans to conquer the world, and an obscene love for all things explosive, SMG3 is the perfect foil to SMG4. Voiced by James Bailey in both normal speech and song. Try to replicate SMG3's voice in any of the later videos, and be sure you can sing. Refer to WOTFI 2023 for the line.

Mario is a main character in the series, aside from SMG4. He's an idiot with no IQ whatsoever. Heaven only knows how he's alive. I want this to be a full-scale production, so I need auditioners to refer to Mario's voice in either the games or any of the Wars of the Fat Italians when auditioning. He needs to sound like he doesn't have a clue what he's doing. Also, anyone auditioning needs to be able to sing as well. Refer to WOTFI 2023's song for the singing line.

Meggy Spletzer is a former Inkling superstar turned coach who, through the course of the movie, begins to have hallucinations about Desti, who says she doesn't care about her. She's a terrible cook, but she makes up for it with her comedic charm, and her witty personality. Refer to her voice in any of the recent videos to get an idea of her general range, and refer to the voice in WOTFI 2023's song to get a feel for her singing voice.

Melony is a naive, but strong young woman who used to be a watermelon, before the Fierce Deity Mask from The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time fused itself with her and made her human. She is now the second most powerful person in the SMG4 universe, and the first to discover that they can bring their friends back. Refer to her voice in War of the Fat Italians 2021 to get a general idea of what she sounds like, and don't forget to also refer to her voice in the same video's song to get a feel for her singing voice.

Tari is another main character of SMG4's. She's an artificial Meta Runner with the ability to hop into simulations, such as video games. Her arm can also transform into a multitude of different weapons, and she's usually a bright and cheery person to be around. Refer to her voice in the SMG4 official movie, Western Spaghetti to get a feel for her vocal range, and refer to her only line in the War of the Fat Italians 2021 rap battle, Zero, to get a feel for her singing voice.

The crazy, outspoken anime girl of the bunch, Saiko wields a giant mallet and talks big game. She's cocky, overconfident, but not unkind or uncaring. She does care deeply for her friends, and embarks on a mission to save the ones who died for them. Refer to both official Saiko English music videos for not only her singing voice, but also her vocal range as well. You'll not be speaking any Japanese.

A mysterious figure who hides in the shadows, Puzzlevision is always planning something, a thing he's so very good at. His psychotic nature and belief that SMG4'S entire world is simulated make him a concerning foe, but the power he holds to back up those claims make him truly terrifying. Refer to his line at the end of WOTFI 2023 to get a general feel for his voice. Unfortunately, because he does not have any singing lines yet, you'll get to sing whatever you want with him for your audition.

Axol is a cheery and lovable mangaka axolotl with a heart of gold, and a desire to do what's right in any scenario. Please reference both the rap battle in War of the Fat Italians 2021, as well as the subsequent death scene of our favorite manga boy after it.

Meggy's rival and friend, Desti is a hothead with an outgoing personality and a bad habit of nicknaming her friends and foes alike. She's overconfident, cocky, and way too easily able to let her guard down, but she learned to get that dealt with in heaven. Since Desti doesn't really have a voice, I want you to refer to the voice of Glitch Productions' Sunset Paradises' cat burglar, Whisk, for the voice. She's also the only other character who doesn't have a singing voice out of the cast, due to not being assigned an official voice actor, so you can sing what you want here.
