SKYSCORER manga dub
Project Overview
SKYSCORER is a new manga by artist and musician BONESAW.
With permission I have been given the blessing of putting together a dub for his manga!
This will possibly be a long term project depending on how things goes, please read the description in full before auditioning!

AUDITIONING INSTRUCTIONS:
My preferred format is AAABBBCCC but feel free to do any format as long as you follow the rules!
You can audition for more than one character!
Do not slate!
Voice references are not the end all be all, they are simply a basis for the vibe I believe the character should have. Have fun doing your own take!
Please include extra things such as your socials and discord and any relevant links regarding your voice work!
Improv is encouraged! (i.e. going off script a bit and adding some extra filler to the text like a chuckle, an "uh", etc.)
MIC/SOUND REQUIREMENTS:
A good USB or XLR!
Minimal to no echo! (recordings that sound like they're in a cave are insta dimissed)

Voice Actor
Cal is the younger sister of Blam Whitlock, she's smiley, may have a little trouble using her inside voice sometimes, emotional but not a pushover, loves her family, and can be impulsive... but she means well.
I imagine Cal to have a bright voice, a ray of sunshine type, but not too high or stereotypical "anime" sounding. She should be able to be moderately loud as opposed to just yelling for the times she's more energetic, carry deep emotion in her voice when needed.

Ambrosia is the mother to Blam and Cal.
She's a loving mother who deals with a lot of baggage on her own. Trying her best to hide it from her kids as to not worry them. She's strong willed despite it all.
I don't have many notes when it comes to Ambrosia's voice, but a good reference is Wendee Lee as Trish from DMC:

I genuinely don't think this guy has a name.
So the name is self explanatory, the guy is a complete poser, he acts tough but when it comes back at him he's the first to turn tail and run.
I imagine he sounds overly confident to a point where it sounds ridiculous, but he's genuinely an asshole and thinks he's far more important than he truly is.
Just an absolute menace waiting to get his teeth kicked in.

Gunn is the father of Cal and Blam.
He's a tall loving guy who matches the family's over the top energy.
Think of a lovable grizzly bear who seems intimidating at first, but the moment you talk to him you realize you can talk to him about anything.

He's a sketchy dude who wears a trench coat and hat. Looks kinda like Mr. X from Resident Evil.
I believe he should sound gravely and have constant authority and confidence in his voice. A threatening almost haunting aura to him.
