Having been born as a descendant of survivors in the undergrounds of Earth, Cataleya experienced her childhood and young-adult life mostly below the surface to prevent corruption by the Radiance. She always had an interest towards figuring out a way to find a scientific cure and counter the Radiance while trying to study the old texts of the fallen human civilisation that predates hers in her quest to find solutions. After the first liberation of Earth by the joint Southwind, Unitatis and Nikahinna forces she would reveal herself and her people to them, eventually helping Southwind and its people to settle in her home of China. As time passed, she would play a larger but background role within the Imperial Council, forming close ties with its head as the two became fond of each other’s presence over the decades. Following the disaster which killed most of her colleagues at the Königsberg research facility, she withdrew herself like her husband from politics and the sciences. Primarily focusing on her side passion for law and helping her husband educate the people of Zimatochi until the request for his return to once again lead the Imperial Council.

She is considered lawful neutral, being an Arcta she was peculiarly curious and interested in many things, but also at times sceptical and struggling to speak in the English language. As a lawful neutral individual, she may do things that can be considered irreligious or distasteful to others, but she follows a strict code of order in which she follows, dictating her morals and actions.

She originates from an Arcta tribe which was later disclosed to not be an actual tribe, but rather a group of imprisoned Arctas experimented upon by Illagers; the experiment was related to the Abyss. It appears that Yumija is impaired by an illness unique to the victims of this experiment after her escape, requiring her to find ways to cure it if not temporarily.

In the remote, snow-covered forests of Hokkaido, nestled between towering pines, stands the ancient Tsukimori Temple. For centuries, the temple has been tended by a long line of keepers, each devoted to preserving its serenity. The current keeper, Haruto, is unlike the others. Orphaned as a child, he was found on the temple steps during a fierce winter storm, a mysterious biwa (a traditional Japanese lute) cradled in his small hands. Raised by the monks, Haruto was drawn to the biwa, learning its secrets as he grew. His melodies, infused with the whisper of the wind and the echoes of forgotten spirits, became known for their power to calm both the living and the dead. Now, as the sole keeper of Tsukimori Temple, Haruto uses his biwa not just to maintain the spiritual balance of the temple but to communicate with the ancient kami that dwell in the surrounding forest. On cold, silent nights, his music drifts through the trees, a bridge between the human world and the supernatural, ensuring peace in the sacred lands of Hokkaido.

As a descendant of an Underground Earthian who has survived the Radiance and having seen the devastating news following the destruction of London by abyssal weapons during the Imperial Council - Syndicate war, Michiko has always remained a pacifist throughout her career. Despite having no initial combat knowledge, nor high-ranking political, social or military positions, Michiko was able to survive the third Radiance takeover of Earth in an evacuation ship from the Japanese spaceport. Since her arrival in Zimatochi, she was invited to join the Vtuber Union, working there as maintenance while keeping the facilities of the VU fully supplied, elevating her position within society even though it was not her initial interest to do so.

Chaotic, Detached, Indifferent, Adaptive, Conservative, Noncommittal

Some random guy from Earth who has the talents and passion for killing, follows on the evacuation ship and now ends up working as a bounty hunter, mainly working as an independent branch of the Vtuber Union armed forces. Known mostly as the code name “zero” and said to be good at exterminating.

Hailing from the destroyed Kingdom of Southwind, he's a seasoned admiral of the Imperial Council Navy. He served throughout several wars against the extra-terrestrial Radiance from before the fall of his kingdom to commanding a space cruiser and leading a counter-offensive to retake Earth with hopes of also reclaiming his home one day. He stands as a very tactical person but remains empathetic and considerate to the effects his decisions have on his crew while balancing the wider goals of the Imperial Council.

Hailing from the world of Lagovulpes, Vice Admiral Amianus has served Unitatis and the Imperial Council throughout his years as a naval admiral to the rapid invention and usage of space fairing vessels through the discoveries of technological remains after their first liberation of Earth decades ago. He strives as a confident, capable but aggressive admiral whose characteristics are defined by his heavy-hitting and primarily offensive tactics.

An officer born from Earth who was trained by the expertise of his counterparts from different realms, Mildew stands as one of the first figures to have been directly trained as the first group of experimental officers for the formation of the United Nations Cosmo Navy (UNCN). Not having gone through the rapid transition from medieval/early modern to modern standards unlike older counterparts, Mildew has relatively adapted quickly to the changing dynamics of combat in space, promoting a more cautious and mindful approach towards the construction, deployment and maintenance of assets.
