Sky's Calamity (Original Visual Novel)
Project Overview
You're a teenager attending high school whose favourite hobby is detective work. You've worked on small detective cases for your own enjoyment and solved crimes. One day, you discover suspicious paranormal activity was spotted at a high school in your home town. Around this time, a serious accident took place, where a number of students died at the scene whose bodies could not be recovered.
Shocked and excited, you head over to the school to investigate further, where you find an ordinary high school that claims the tragedy never took place. You do some further digging and find a news article with some pictures of the deceased students. Tired and underwhelmed, you head home on the bus. At this time it’s late so you take the only ride home. Only one other person is on the bus; a teenage boy around 16/17 years old. He’s holding a bag of groceries. Suddenly you notice something unusual, something strange;
The teenage boy is one of the dead students.

What you've just read is the introduction to my story Sky's Calamity. I devised this story a little while ago, but I've finally decided to bring it to life by finalising character designs and the storyline.
This story will be projected as a visual novel using the engine Ren'Py. A voice actors casting call will be released later on.

As a sprite artist you will need to constantly replicate an art style and work from references of character sheets.
Please note: You must be a digital artist to audition for this role and therefore must audition with some digital art that you have recently created.

To audition for this role you will need to demonstrate your artistic skills in creating an emotive or detailed background for the visual novel.

You will be responsible for the flow of the plot and to add suspense and tension where necessary. You will be working alongside Kry to develop the plot into a balanced story, and may work with the artists to collaborate on character backstory.

Your singing voice should depict a young teenage girl (around 16/17). Further details about the character will be shared with you once you are accepted for this role.
You may audition covering any emotive piano song of your choice. Your ability to sing in tune, in time and with emotion will be greatly considered. Multiple takes are allowed, but must be within the same audition.
