Extended Deadline
We've extended a deadline by a week due to no auditions being made for Kacey
Step into the Roaring Twenties—cartoon style! We’re creating a whimsical, fabricated interview with a fictional 1920s animation studio founder to help promote our spinoff advert for Ozzie Bunny. This playful nod to the golden age of animation doubles as world-building for our series, inviting audiences to time-travel back to an era of jazz bands, speakeasies, and pioneering cartoon magic. Why are we doing this? Because why not add a dash of vintage flair to the modern stage? If you love old-time radio vibes and want to help bring this imaginative vision to life, this casting call is for you!

The Walt Disney, the Hanna Barbara, ect ect.
Sketch Mathers is the founder of Titanic Kreatives Incorporated, a 1920s animation studio focused on entertainment big and small, no matter the heights.
Sketch is a man of passion and wants to entertain children for generations!
He's around his mid twenties-to-thirties and damn well he's optimistic!
His voice should be an adult Irish vibe while clearly being from the 1920s. Flexibility is recommended though! [This role may reappear for future projects so this is semi-long term? Not really? I don't know]
Sparkavision wasn't built in a day, but an episode only takes 4 months to finish!
don’t be faffing about on my account
, now there’s a yarn worth spinning!
Oscar Marshall, the Lovely British or Aussie radio-host!
I don't really have much to say about this man, his entire personality is upbeat and clearly a front for the radio show. He's from the 1920s and host of The Aether Sessions Radio show.
Voice is flexible, but clearly British and/or Aussie
Welcome to The Aether Sessions, the most spiffing wireless programme this side of the pond!
[Laughing] Stop the clocks, that’s priceless! A bunny with a prize in its chops, eh?
I’ll be honest, you’re a right sight taller than I pictured
Note: no lines have been written for Finn at the time of this casting, Lines may not be accurate for full script
The Grumpy animator, Close friend of Sketch and Light Drunkard, Finn Edwards is a well meaning but mean Intern.
He’s in his mid 30s
He's the Texan of the group, because every group needs a Texan! Right? His voice is also quite raspy. Imagine Joel from "the last of us".
Welp, ain't this just the Bees Knees???
Look, I'm just dying for this to end.
Don't you dare mention the scrapped concepts OR I SWEAR TO GOD--
[Note: Example lines are simply examples, may not be in full script]
Soft, bubbly, upbeat and sweet
The more immature person of the main group, Kacey is probably out making strange decisions and not thinking before they speak. Also probably VERY gay but would never say it
Yea right! When can we get this over with and get lunch? [Energetic]
Imagine if Animation only needed.. Like.. Puppets!
Tell them about MY pilot! [Excited]
The hardened family man, Rufus is a British WWI veteran. He may seem cold on the exterior but he deeply cares for his friends and ESPECIALLY his family. He will go arms length to make sure the ones he loves are okay. He’s the founder of Circuit Breaker Studios, a stop motion/Cell animation company which is an active collaborator with Titanic Kreatives Studios. He still is recovering from the war emotionally.
Hes pretty old, in his late thirties
“Actually, my son created the characters..not me.”
“Britain sucks, I know from experience.”
“I’m doing this project for my kids..”
The mysterious Aster. Not much is known about them, not their full name, not their origin, practically nothing. Only person who knows anything about them is Sketch and he won't say anything.
Aster is a closed off person, always quiet. But is always heard yapping around Sketch. They have a slight British voice and relatively quiet but still loud.
They're in their early 20s.
They struggle to convey their tone
What was that script even for??
I feel pretty Gay right now.. ..
...wait what the hell did you say?
Despite the fact that this is a radio interview, it still requires At least a portrait of the featured guests. The images showcased for some is simply the concept art of them, designed hastily by a few in-studio people.
The artstyle should be realistic, yet 1920s. Try a more refined version of the art for Sketch Mathers' Portrait.
*Say something you think would fit*
Somebody to simply subtitle the episode, manage the Visual effects [staticy] and the slide in of the guest portraits. Not much. I'll give you tips when we get you
*Say something you think would fit*
You simply add the VFX of the background, aka. You simply add the slight fuzz and glitch effects to the audio to make it sound authentic to 1920s radio interviews
