One more month!
One month before the auditions close and I select the roles! Haven't been able to look through all of the auditions yet, but will when it's time to choose of course. I'm very grateful to everyone that has auditioned.

In hindsight, I rushed this page because I was so excited to get it out. I made a few updates to the description and the character info to hopefully make this project a bit more clear. Thank you so much for all the auditions so far. It's been really fun to listen to everyone.
Coralie is the lead role.
She's bubbly, kind, and yearns for the perfect fairytale romance—at least that's what she tells herself.
I imagine her voice as high pitched and feminine in a natural juvenile way. That means, nothing over the top or cartoony.
*upset, self-deprecating* Well, I deserve it. I can't believe I ignored you thinking he was different. Ugh, so stupid.
*excited* It's so stinking cute! Take a picture, please please please! I wanna show Gina.
*hopeful, daydreaming, happy* I'd buy a huge farm for us with a bunch of cows, chickens, goats and—well just about every animal you can think of. We'll leave enough room for Sue and your mom of course. They're cool so they can come.
Gina is a 14 year old that is sarcastic and fiercely loyal to her best friend, Coralie. She's never quite fit in and doesn't care to.
Like Coralie, her voice will also be juvenile. I imagine it as being on the deeper end, boyish but not quite.
*apologetic with a hint of playful sarcasm* Sorry. I'll shut up and keep my opinion to myself. Promise.
*worried* No. She ditched the date. She called me and told me she was walking over. But that was like an hour ago.
*playful, happy* Instead of standing there and freezing your lil butt off, maybe you should walk a few blocks down and come see your bestie.
Sue is Coralie's 19 year old stepsister. She's a college student who also works a full-time job, making her chronically tired. But she's chill and playful--especially with Coralie.
I imagine her voice as being very mellow, a bit more on the deeper end.
Enough pouting. Sit down and let me work my magic.
Your dad would kill me if he knew about all of this so don’t push your luck. See you at midnight.
*worried, but keeping her cool* She's probably just in one of her moods. Just…relax. I'm on my way now.
Michael is Coralie and Gina's classmate--one of the popular boys. He's spent way too much time online, leading to him being incredibly rude and dismissive.
I imagine his voice as being on the deeper end (while still being juvenile, of course). He has the whole nonchalant shtick going on so he should kind of always sound like he doesn't give a damn about what you're saying.
I'm just saying, bro. She's weird as hell and all overprotective of you. Is she a lesbian or something?
I don't know how anyone can like poetry. All the poems I've had to read are just people trying way too hard to sound deep.
Uh, aight. Guess we can go get some food after the movie's over.
Edward is a 45 year old man. Not only is he a husband and a father--he's also a serial killer. He's mastered the art of blending in.
He should sound friendly, like a man who just wants to help--dad-like, if you will. but there should be an undertone of creepiness in his voice.
A date, huh? Seeing that you're walking alone with no jacket I can assume it didn't go that well?
I get it. Stranger danger, right? I tell my daughter the same thing.
Nonsense. Weather aside, a young girl like you shouldn't be walking alone this late at night.
Very minor role. No preference on voice.
Welcome in! How many?
Your server will be right with you.

How are you two kids doing today? Can I get you started with something to drink?
Here y'all go. Just holler if you need anything else.
