Shugo Chara! English Fandub (More Roles Added)
Project Overview
Hi everyone! This is a project I have started up years ago, but due to a bunch of unforeseen circumstances, had to cancel the whole project after 5 videos were completed.
I am here once again to try to bring it back! A fresh new start and team!
Shugo Chara! Synopsis - Amu Hinamori is a student at Seiyo Elementary, where she has a reputation for being "cool and spicy"; however, her real personality is that of an extremely shy and easily intimidated girl. One night Amu makes a wish that she would have the courage to be reborn as her "would-be" self. The next morning Amu finds three brightly colored eggs—red, blue, and green—in her bed. Each egg eventually hatches into a Guardian Character: Ran, Miki, and Su. Guardian Characters are angel-like beings that aid a person into becoming their "would-be" selves and fulfill the person's dreams. The Guardian Characters accomplish this by giving encouragement and advice, but they can also temporarily change a person's personality and abilities. With the Guardian Characters, Amu's life becomes much more complex as she now struggles to deal with her new personalities and the Seiyo Elementary Guardians—a student council group where each member has their own Guardian Character—who recruits Amu to search for and seal the X eggs and X Characters, corrupted forms of people's dreams.
I took way too much at one time when I started this years ago, and now will stick solely to this single project.
All I am asking from everyone who is cast is that they are kind to everyone else in the project, to communicate with me if any issues arise, I am pretty flexible on deadlines.

Amu Hinamori is an elementary school student who suddenly is surprised one morning when she uncovers 3 eggs in her bed. Upon meeting the Guardians, she soon discovers that they are Guardian Characters, or her 'would be selves' and she becomes the Joker in the Guardians hunting down X Eggs.
If you don't believe in yourself, who will?! You're the only one demeaning yourself! (Trying to act cool, giving advice)
In my heart, I want to be a cuter and more honest girl. But if I try now, no one will accept my character. (Sad)

Ran is Amu's first Guardian Character. She's the bubbly, cheerleader girl who is always happy and excited, cheering for Amu.
Go go Amu-chan! (Cheering)
Hop! Step! JUMP! (Bubbly, last line shouting)
From a girl who can't fly, to a girl who can! CHARACTER CHANGE!
Miki is Amu's second Guardian chara, and is the artistic one. She is more laid back, and has a lower, scratchy voice. She's usually more deadpan about certain situations, but really cares for Amu and hopes for the best for her.
From someone who's unable to draw, to someone who can. Character Change!

Ami is Amu's baby sister, probably between 3-5. She can't pronounce words correctly sometimes, and voice is super childish and high pitched

Tadase Hotori is the King's Chair of the Guardians, and is a really shy kid but friendly kid. He's always looking out for everyone. His voice should be high-pitched and soft sounding, however when he experience a Chara Change, he is more loud and boastful.
Holy Crown!! (Attacking)
Did.....you just call me.....PRINCE?! (slowly getting agitated) My loyal subjects, I AM your KING! HAHAHAHA! (boastful)
I'm sorry, there is already a girl I like.
Kiseki is the Guardian Character for Tadase, and is an egotistical and boastful king. He treats the others like servants most of the time.
Listen now commoners! You lot are to help me find the embryo! (Demanding)
*Give your best egotistical laugh*
You thieving cat! Get back here! (Angry)
Nadeshiko is a lovely and beautiful girl who holds the Queen's Chair in the Guardians. She is one of Amu's best friends sing joining. Have an eloquent voice that is high-pitched, but also be able to sound somewhat similar to the clip below.
Amu-chan~! (sneaking up behind) I see you're still a scaredy cat~ *giggle*

Temari is Nadeshiko's Guardian Chara, and represents her feelings of being a Japanese Dancer. She is very ladylike and quiet

Kukai is the Jack's chair of the Guardians, and is athletic and energetic. He always gun ho about things, and can be pretty loud at times.
The job for the Joker is to hunt X Eggs! (matter of factly)
This girl, she's amusing! You pass! (laughing throughout)
He shoots! He scores!
Daichi is Kukai's Guardian Character, and was born from Kukai's inability to choose between which sports to play. He is very competitive at times, but also very laidback.

Yaya is the Ace's chair of the Jokers, and the youngest of the group. She is very childish and acts like a literal baby sometimes. Needs to have a very childish voice

Even though I'm not the best at being a prima, I still give it my all! I always get back up on my feet when I fall! (encouraging)

Pepe is Yaya's Guardian Character, and was born from Yaya's wish to be a baby forever. Pepe and Yaya like to talk in third person all the time, and Pepe also likes making dry comments to Kiseki when he goes on about ruling the world.

Ikuto enjoys messing around with Amu, and has a bit of an obsession with her at times. He is like a stray cat, always wandering. He also plays the violin, and carries it with him all the time. He should have an older voice that is somewhat deep.
Here. Compensation. Utau made you drop yours, right?
If you're not working with us to find the Embryo, then we are enemies.
You're taking your obsession with cats too far. (annoyed)
Yoru is Ikuto's Guardian Character, and is a mischievous cat, very playful, and is selfless. Yoru needs to have a high-pitched voice
Hey, you wannabe king! (teasing Kiseki)
Hey, Ikuto! Ikuto! Look look! I found the embryo! (excited)
That's enough-nya! What'd I...do?! That tickles-nya! (being tickled, laughing throughout)
Utau is Ikuto's sister, and a famous singer. She is working with Easter in order to find the Embryo to grant Ikuto's wish.
When I sing, that place becomes my stage.
*sing any song for 30 seconds*
Ikuto...? (surprised) Ikuto! Ikuto! You came to see me! (very happy, almost childish)
Nikaidou is a pawn of Easter, and poses as a teacher at the school in order to seek out the Embryo from the kids. Acting as a teacher, he puts on a goofy personality, always messing up and being clumsy, but when he's out for the embryo, he's cold and dismissive. .
Oh! Himamori-san! I'm terribly sorry, but could you help me out here? (Aloof, purposely saying amu's name wrong, goofy)
Leave it to me. I will be the one to find the Embryo. (cunning)
It's amazing, isn't it? All these kids trying to be the best they can be, even though they know it's impossible. (lighthearted, cold)
Midori is Amu's mother who writes for a Housewife's Magazine

Wakana, just like Manami, is one of Amu Hinamori's closer friends that's not part of the Guardians. Though she has expressed an interest in becoming a teacher, she also seems to think of being a fashion designer or singer.
They’re called Guardians because they are the students who are for students! A special Student council!Cool and spicy! Really cool!!
Manami is a minor character, who goes in the same class as Amu Hinamori. She is one of the few characters who are closer to Amu aside from the Guardians. In the first episode, when Amu confessed to Tadase, she was one of the first people to confront her. The two have been close friends ever since. Because her mother owns a flower shop, Manami dreams of becoming a florist, but also wants to try other stuff.
Hinamori-san, since you just transfered, you might not know them!The Guardians have a royal guardian where they drink tea!
Seiichiro is often seen cheering for Amu, admiring her in someway, or proving to Saaya Yamabuki that Amu is a superhero or can save anyone from anything.

Saaya is portrayed as being very cold-hearted, nasty, egotistical and unable to sing. Along with the other members of the Tadase Fan Club, Saaya shows off whenever she gets the chance in order to impress Tadase, Kukai, or any other handsome boys who happen to show up, but to no avail. She is a stereotypical rich and snobby girl and is very competitive with Amu, challenging her at every chance she gets.

Hinamori-san, if you don’t capture the true beauty of Yamabuki Saaya, I won’t forgive you.
This project is looking for extras to help play multiple minor and extra characters throughout the first season. Guaranteed a role in each episode as there are many side characters

He was the first King's Chair of the "Guardians" and their founder. Manages the planetarium as a part-time job.
So, the girl who holds three Guardian Characters has finally appeared. It would seem the story’s about to begin.

Though it has been forgotten by everyone, those who are lost or have doubts still manage to find it.
Staff of Easter Company. Utau's manager, was competing with Nikaidou to see who is the first to find the Embryo. Yukari dated Nikaidou in the past.
There isn’t much time left before your concert. We’ll have problems if you keep this up. I told you this isn’t a game. You are working for the Easter company. You signed the contract. You can’t just sing and dance as you please.
CD sales were much higher than expected. The project is progressing at an excellent pace.
