Shock Warriors: Episode 3
Project Overview
Hey y'all! This casting call is for Episode 3 of "Shock Warriors." From the twisted mind of DeviemTwen, this series is about five elemental warriors living their normal lives and getting into wacky scenarios. The series is part storytelling, part slice-of-life comedy, and part psychedelic nightmare. Much of the inspiration for the art style comes from another Internet series called "Eddsworld", and the humor comes from an Adult Swim series called "Xavier Renegade Angel".
We're recasting for a voice that will be used throughout the season. The original voice actor seems to have disappeared without warning, which is why we request a new voice. Folks interested in this role will be asked to join this Discord link: (https://discord.gg/EayeBadw). If joining is not an option, then you can submit it here on Casting Call Club instead. If you're not cast for this role, but your voice matches the tone of the show, we may ask you to provide lines for supporting roles in the future.
This role is in the English language. Voice actors must be comfortable using the language/vernacular of the time period (America, 2000-2024).
This is an unpaid role, meaning that actors will not be paid any sum of money. Links to a demo reel are optional but greatly welcome, and your username/real name (whatever is preferred) will be listed in the episode's credits.
The deadline for auditions is May 3rd, 2024. There are currently no plans to extend this deadline, as the full Episode 3 script is ready to release to voice actors. We'll notify the voice actor who has been cast in the role by April 29th and send scripts to voice actors by May 1st. We need to receive all lines back from voice actors by May 13th. This is a hard deadline. If you are unable to record between May 1st - May 13th, please do not audition.

Wateris is what I would describe as a "bored mother" personality. She acts very unenthusiastic about everything, with a little hint of sarcasm, and snarkiness. She has a smooth voice, with a medium pitch.

Famnad is a shapeshifting creature with surprisingly talented acting chops. Despite his talent, he uses it for dubious schemes like scamming and conning. He also has a bit of a smoking problem. His voice has a goofy tone. Sort of a British accent, with a hint of roughness.
One of Famnad's many characters is the "Businessman". A very egotistical executive who has lied his way to the top and has made billions as a result. I want a more Patrick Bateman voice for his character when he is serious, and to have a more car-dealer-esque attitude when he is being more optimistic.
Still have him be British tho.
