Shingeki no Show Choir

Shingeki no Show Choir

Project Overview

Shingeki no Show Choir is an Attack on Titan AU audio play. We have a majority of our cast, but we still have quite a few roles to fill before our cast list is full.

Synopsis: High school sophomores Eren, Armin, and Mikasa and their friends are accepted into Trost High School’s show choir, Shingeki Show Choir. The series will follow Shingeki’s journey throughout the year, starting with auditions and terminating at their end of the year competition. Eren knows show choir will be a lot of hard work, but as he attends classes and rehearsals, he finds that Shingeki is a lot more work than he anticipated.

  • You can audition for the speaking portion or singing portion of a role. Meaning, two people can end up playing one character: one doing the voice acting and the other singing. You don't have to sing and voice act; you can do either or. And of course, if you want to audition for both portions that's more than welcome.

If you'd like to audition, we ask that you have the following:

1. A decent microphone.

2. Noise removal

3. A willingness to commit to the group.

4. If submitting a singing audition, please sing only a minute of the song of your choosing. You do not need a backtrack for your singing audition.

We operate mainly through Tumblr right now, but once episodes are produced we'll start publishing through Youtube. You can find out blog here:

New show choir member. He’s a sophomore. He started choir as a freshman, and decided to try out for show choir because it is the elite choir of the Trost High.

  • Suggested Songs: "One Night in Bangkok” from Chess: The Rock Opera, "Benny’s Dispatch” from In the Heights, or "Holiday” by Green Day/from American Idiot.

His voice is up to interpretation.

  • "That was your mother’s choice, not mine."

  • "I’m working late again. I won’t be back in time to see you three off."

  • "Stop slacking off! Our competition is in five days! We can’t afford to start getting sloppy now!"

Erwin has been directing Shingeki Show Choir for five years, this one being his sixth. He has an extensive musical background ranging from working with bands to musical theatre.

Mostly a speaking role, but may be asked to do minimal singing from time to time. His singing would be in the baritone/bass range. He speaks with a purpose and doesn't beat around the bush.

  • "Hanji, leading a round of dirty dancing to the song ‘Rude Boy’ does not count as stretching. We’ve been over this."

  • "Does anyone want to audition for the solo?"

  • "The sopranos need to sing quieter. You’re drowning out the altos again."
