Shellshocked
Project Overview
Hey all
This is a new podcast I've been working on and I'm looking for some voice actors.
Description:
We've heard of space, you've heard of space, but do we really know everything about it? What kinds planets lay outside of humanity's reach, and are they suitable for human life? Well, we've got the crew learning just that!
Join the crew of the Celeste, the finest ship built since the legendary Icarus, and venture further into space than ever before. Be the first to discover new civilisations, try bizarre new cuisines, or maybe be the first to come into contact with something else entirely.
Could you be the one to find our new Earth? Found out aboard the Celeste, where you become the stars! (note: we do not take any responsibility for any harm, damage, mutilation, or psychological trauma experienced in the deep void of space)

The biologist and doctor aboard the Celeste, Remy is surprisingly one of the more charismatic members. Known to disappear for days on end in his lab, once Remy is interested in something he will study it until there is nothing left to ask. Amongst the crew, he naturally gets along with everyone but can be quite difficult to get through when he's panicked or stressed.
Joking tone, like he's trying to lighten up the mood
I once had a social life. Then I got into space exploration, and well, that died pretty quick.
Lost in thought
Wait, if you add hydrochloric acid to the- no, that won't work.
Improv a line you think fits
Jonathan is a vital member aboard the Celeste as both the technician and deep space survival expert, so he is often overworked and in desperate need of coffee. Depending on the time of day, he can either be your partner in crime, Space Rambo, or an unbearable prick. Coming off as blunt and insensitive, Jonathan takes a while to trust others but when he does will always stand by them.
100% done and extremely tired
Listen, unless the ship has suddenly caught on fire or we're plummeting into a black hole, there shouldn't be a reason why you are interrupting my break.
Slightly confused
I stopped paying attention, can someone run that by me again?
Improv a line you think fits
The AI system aboard the Celeste, XAN is the most level-headed member of the crew with a surprisingly strong streak of sarcasm. As well as a near god-like knowledge capacity, XAN is arguably the most compassionate and cares deeply for everyone onboard the Celeste. Their creative solutions are best avoided however....
The accent can be any, please ignore the accent box
Slightly offended
Shaw I’m an AI system, not your babysitter. Catch me on a day when I’m not controlling the Celeste’s functions and maybe that’ll change.
Well, with the lack of weight on your back and leg muscles that means that there would have been a loss of bone and muscle mass…
Improv a line you see fits
Think of those promotional videos that are shown at conventions, schools, or companies. That corporate happy-go-lucky vibe.
Happy go lucky voice
And over here we have the most important building on Earth, Central Command!
Called Project Orpheus, Command gathers the best and brightest members of the human race to explore the vast unknown and find us a new home.
And we here at The Institute of Interplanetary Research and Exploration know that you can succeed.
The general kind of vibe from orientation films or informative propaganda videos.
But thanks to the Institute’s quick thinking human-kind was saved and preserved in artificially crafted biomes.
And remember, you were chosen to be here. Chosen to help save the human race!
But that was just the beginning for the founder, Marie Devon
