Shadowy Figure voice Wanted for an OK K.O. fight sequence FANDUB

Project Overview

[SPOILERS FOR "LET'S HAVE A STAKEOUT" FOR THOSE NOT FULLY CAUGHT UP TO THE SHOW YET! If you are caught up to speed in advance, then this is certainly the place to try out your ominous, mysterious villain type of voice] 



Recently I've made the few of my first fandub readies left open specifically for Shadowy Figure, so today might be your chance to go all out with a mysterious, husky, ominous, anime-ish, Knight-of-Cerberus-esque villain type of voice range. 



Audition rules/list: 



  • You need a good or at least decent microphone. (Recording on a decent sounding cell phone mic is optional as well, not all staticy and kinda muffled please.) Little to no unnecessary background noise or static.


  • You must be able to record your voice with the proper tone, emotion tempo and inflection for the character


  • The voice should be relatively close to the original as possible, but if you’d like to add a little take or spin of your own, then feel free to do so!


  • To send in your audition, link me the video of the desired character(s) in an untitled Youtube video with no background sounds, just your voice. (If you happen to have a Tumblr, alternatively you can save it as a draft and link it for me to have a listen.Or send it in right here if you'd like! )

[Most widely speculated and theorized to be either Laserblast or Professor Venomous under the hood, but his identity is currently unknown at the moment, despite sharing the same voice actor] 


Shadowy figure most of the time seems calm and is very manipulative, saying things to disturb K.O, leading him to get very angry and unleash his power known as T.K.O, destroying the plaza. He shows interest in K.o's power and uses him to his favor, like breaking in the sewer's room to harvest glorbs, for their incredible power. K.O. tells him he will not let him take them, to which he replies, "we can't have you ruin all of my hard work", implying that he is not alone and working alongside someone. 

He is the very person responsible for unleashing T.K.O. in the first place.

  • How disappointing. You've ruined Gar's stakeout, you couldn't even touch me. I wonder if you ever become a hero at this rate. 

  • No, you shut it! You're pathetic and your only saving grace is the delicious dormant power that courses through your veins! Why else would Gar let a screw up like you when you're on a mission like this?

  • (starting taunting in an attempt to belittle KO) Heh-hey. Oh, KO, you're so cute. You're pwaying hewwo so good.
