Project Overview
I couldn't resist. Of course, I couldn't. It was as if something inside of me was drawn to him, like it was in my blood. The devil himself. When I began my descent into insanity, little did I know I wouldn't be coming completely unscathered. Those kind of things, the kind of things that I survived, they change you. People change you.
I was never supposed to be thrust into the world of demons and monsters, and shadows! At least... that's what they told me. But how am I supposed to trust people who lie on impulse? Maybe it was his manipulations that lead me to be so distrustful, they warned me about him. It doesn't matter anymore, none of it does. His poisonous seduction broke me completely and utterely. My life... it's complicated and messy. These creatures aren't those from fairytales, this isn't some sweet story about a sweet bedtime story to send you off to sleep. It is one thing, though. It's mine and I claim it completely, my tradgedy.

This screenplay is based on a girl, Avery, who through an accident becomes linked to the next ruler of hell, Cole. Cole is Lucifer's son and your typical badboy apart from the fact that he's a demon that requires blood to survive. Avery's best friend Cole is very curious about her new habit of talking to herself and disappereing. What fresh hrros will he discover? As Avery is entangled further in Cole's web of manipulations she discovers the disturbing truths of this new, alien world.

Cole is sarcastic and arrogant his personality is very dominant. He is possessive towards Avery. He has a low and deep voice. He changes moods fast frequently, so it's hard to tell what he's thinking. Also, he is hot-headed and short-tempered.
(sarcastic/cruel) Rise and shine, Kitten! So many litte shits to kill today! It gets me off just thinking about the look on their faces when the life leaves them.
(cold/sarcastic) You're not in love with me! You're just a stupid little girl, who doesn't even know what love is! Humans are all the same, throwing the word around so loosely. Heh. Acting like it's so sacred. What the hell do you think you're doing.
(sarcastic/flirty) Well, well, well. Looks like this little kitten has claws. Who would have guessed. Good, I like it rough.
Amena is a quiet girl. She can get emotional and worked up over small things. She considers herself to be very weak and it gets her down alot. She is ultimately a hard worker and very honest. Her innocence and morality mean that she finds the demon world difficult to deal with and the horror of it hard to understand. Overall Amena is quite naive in the way that she thinks and shy in the way she interacts with others.
(shocked/scared) Wait... so-so, that would mean that... that would mean that. Oh god, what happened to me?
(supporting/sad)I know, I'm not very strong. I'm quite weak actually. I know that, but... I will at least try to fnd a way to help you, a way to fight.
(upset) Please just-just leave. Because everytime I look at you it hurts. I thought I could handle it but, I... I can't. I'm sorry, I'm still so weak.
The narrator should have a neutral sound to it but emphasise words for a dramatic effect.
And as she lay dying she thought of everything. She thought of the one she hated. She thought of the one she loved. And she thought of the one impossible to live without. In the end it was the same person.
But he wasn't human, and he would never be human. He could never understand her. Her beliefs, her misery, her joy. He wasn't part of her world.
They lied, they didn't know her pain. They didn't know what it was to be cherished and betrayed with those amer eyes. They didn't understand how each of his words was like a wound to her chest. They knew nothing.
Avery is a sarcastic and fiesty girl. She is fiercly loyal to those who she trusts, a select few. While she puts on a brave front, she is just a broken girl who has lost her way. She finds it troubling to trust anyone, even those close to her. Avery can be seen as arrogant in the way she speaks try to show this in the audition.
(sad/lonely) Don't do that. Don't make me trust you. Don't make me care about you and then leave me with nothing but faded memories of you. I can't, okay? I can't hurt like that again. So, just answer me honestly, are you going to break my heart?
(sarcastic/angry) You're right. I raised my standards too high. I forgot, I am speaking to a sadistic demon that wants to suck my blood.
(happy/sarcastic) You're such an idiot. Shut up and kiss me.
Arabella is a succubus. She is your typical bitchy mean girl. She is confident in every aspect of herself. She works as a model as a cover story for her time spent near Cole, her goal is to seduce him and become queen of hell.
(calm/bitchy) You see sweetheart, there's something you're missing. While he was interested in you because of your link, there's no other reason. He belongs to me. So, if you even consider talking to him for any reason, I will slit your pretty little neck and drain you of your, 'oh so precious blood'.
(outraged) Uh! Excuse me!? Are you seriously just going to leave me here?! Dressed like this?!
Of course I'm confident. I mean really, do I actually have anything to be ashamed of?
Ash is Avery's best friend. He has a gentle personality and is very protective of Avery. His voice should have a lower tone. He can be kind of nerdy when talking about certain topics.
(sad/unsure) Ave, wait! Hold on, just wait! You're going to get yourself killed. What the fuck's going on with you? You're different... I don't like it. I don't like... you... when you're like this it's-
(angry) You think it's easy for me? You think I can stand it anymore? I can't, trust me. Seeing you with him, trusting him. It's like the way you used to trust me. Don't you get it? He's wrong for you! He's not even human! So, I'm not going to watch anymore. You don't want my help, fine! This is goodbye.
(sad/wistful)And when I looked at her all I wanted to do was stop time. I had no right to want her, but I couldn't help it. She looked so beautiful as she was crying in the rain, so broken and so... so human. Maybe it was cruel of me to extend my hand to her, knowing the devastating pain I would cause.
Lucifer is the devil and also Cole's father, the current ruler of hell. Lucifer is very charismatic and charming, he uses his skills to work towards his true hidden goal. He should have a deep, rough voice.
(humourus/taunting) Oh, and Cole do keep your voice down. There's a respectable lady sleeping upstairs.
(angry/serious) So, I am to just let you do as you wish? This is still my kindom, boy! I have not lost my power and I demand to be spoken to with the respect I deserve.
(concieted/angry) I am the devil. I am the one that the fiercest warriors tremble before. And you, you are nothing!
