Shade: Retribution - A Halo Machinima
Project Overview
Shade: Retribution is a comedy Halo machinima.
Years ago, a menace known as Blu took to fight a hero known as Shade. With her game in ruins because of Shade's actions, she managed to kill him and soon the world was in fear of what Blu could do next. Cities toppled and the universe was falling apart as Blu took power, destined to become the ruler of worlds if no one was left to oppose her. Daniels, one of the few survivors of Blu's actions, became dedicated to prove that Shade's efforts were not in vain, that perhaps Blu could fall to the power of friendship. He contacted Shade's uncle and soon, he was on a quest with a few friends to finally defeat Blu and her court of villains, once and for all.
Keep in mind, this is a very satirical machinima, it isn't to be taken too seriously and is mostly to poke fun at cliches.

Shade is the main character, seen as an super edgy soldier dedicated to increasing his kill count. He is like a legend in the universe due to his extreme edginess, one-liners and his many amazing feats as a mercenary.
He is responsible for ruining Blu's game, and so the two have a rivalry that Shade knows that only one of them will be able to live through it.
Voice note - He is considered extremely edgy, even to the point of cringe. Have at it.
(Dramatic) I'm Shade, bitch.
(Nonchalant) Yeah whatever, buy me a gun.
(Dramatic) Hmph. Blu thought she could take down my 300 killstreak. Not in my world, bitch.
Uncle Fuckus is Shade's Uncle. He often cared for Shade after he was orphaned and soon grew to realize he was harboring the most famous assassin in the universe. Uncle Fuckus is a dramatic character who enjoys making a show out of things he made or controls, such as important information on Shade. He meets the protagonists early on their journey and acts as a mentor to help them find ways to defeat Blu, ways that Shade had failed to overcome before his fight with her.
Voice note - Uncle Fuckus is alike a showman in how he talks and acts.
(Dramatic) I am Uncle Fuckus, the grand wizard and Uncle of Shade. Ask me your questions.
(Annoyed) Who cares? No one. Now come on, we have to find Nolan.
(Assertive) You see, I played so much Call of Duty that I almost rivaled Shade in his ability to wipe noobs like you off the planet. Now make way as I summon Jamal's soul for consumption.
Roosevelt is Daniels' team Captain. It is with Daniels and Uncle Fuckus that Roosevelt summons the strength and hope to finally find a way to beat Blu once and for all. He is a formal man with a love for knitting and sweaters, and would rather befriend all he can rather than kill it.
Voice note - Roosevelt speaks in a formal way, his accent often bordering between Australian and British.
(Annoyed) Oh sod you, daddy, and ten times over, I say!
(Surprised) My goodness! It is him! The one from the writings!
(Excited) Oh yes, dearest Daniels, we shall vanquish that Blu, once and for all! Put up those fisticuffs and let's valiantly save the universe!
Daniels is a cameraman and was documenting on Shade's actions before Blu killed him. He is the most dedicated to defeating Blu and is often at Uncle Fuckus' side to find out more about Shade. He documents the group, often narrating on their activities as they venture forward.
Voice note - Daniels speaks in a very excited manner, feeling very enthusiastic about his work and avenging Shade.
(Excited) Aaaaaaaaand... perfect! Just stand still so the camera focuses.
(Surprised) Holy cow, Willows I thought you were dead!
(Concerned) Uncle Fungle, maybe you should wait up for the rest of us.
Willows is a zombie that charges head first into danger. Despite her state as a zombie, she is very energetic, often screaming and shouting and getting excited about anything that may happen. She acts as bait for her team most of the time and is potentially the most loyal of them all.
Voice note - Willows is a loud person, so expect a lot of loud laughing and dialogue. She is constantly hyperactive.
(Excited) Well duh! Can't die, bitch! Let's fuck them up!
(Angry) I'm gonna eat your fucking liver, Blu!
(Overly excited) Ha ha ha ha ha! Take this, bitches! I'm me! Willows! The undead shock trooper!
Blu is the main villain of the story. She is rich and a complete sociopath, once having a game dedicated to where she would kill off people until she found her one and only boyfriend. Shade eventually ruined her game and so became a rival to her. She eventually killed him in battle and soon was on a power trip where she felt she could become a god.
Voice note - Blu speaks in a very patronizing tone, seeing herself as above everyone else.
(Condescending) Well see here, Shade. I am richer than you in every single way and if I follow these horror movie tropes well enough, then you're going to find your head on the end of my hatchet. Now stand still while I dominate the universe.
(Patronizing) When I take over the universe and wipe out humanity, I will be sure to use your bones as furniture when I'm thinking of what I can do next.
(Sarcastic) Oh dear, it appears I am going to die at the hands of these assholes. Whatever shall a girl do.
Nolan is Blu's brother and is a Quarterback. He is very relaxed and doesn't take much too seriously, instead relying on focusing on the simpler things of life, including his football game. He is the best of the villains in social situations, however that does not mean he lacks some twisted ideas like Blu.
Voice note - Picture him like a laid back jock if that helps. He is very nonchalant about his words and doesn't get too attached to whatever is occurring.
(Nonchalant) Heh, whatever. Hey just make it in time for the game, okay? Don't wanna be waiting much longer for you to get off your ass.
(Flamboyant) Boo yah! Nolan Beaumont strikes again!
(Indifferent) Look, Theodora can kill whoever she wants, whenever she wants. I don't give a shit. I'm just here for my game.
Flanders is a jester who found himself patching up Blu on a few occasions, soon growing insane with her games and participating at every chance. He is very joyful and hyperactive, giggling and muttering around as he continues with helping Blu in her plans.
Voice note - Typical excited insane person, a lot of laughter involved.
(Excited) Oh yes! Oh yes! We shall have so much fun!
(Cheery) Oh ho ho ho! Yes! Consider it a parting gift on behalf of Nolan and I, oh hee hee!
(Panicked) B-but what of the game? Hee hee! Isn't there a game to be won? A prize to be found?
