Hi everyone, I am looking for people who are willing to do the voice of one of my characters for a trailer I'm making to promote my indie comic, SaGia. Volume 2 is around the corner of release and I had an idea of having voice actors for this final trailer instead of just myself or silence. For those who are asking, what is SaGia? SaGia is an indie comic series created by me in 2021 (I did the art, writing... all of it is done by me). I didn't release it until August 5th, 2024 to the public. I've put so much love into working on this comic series and I have some people who are interested in reading Volume 2. đź’›What I'm looking for! đź’›I'm only picking people who are 18+ for this project. This project isn't NSFW, but the reason why is I say 18 and older only because I rather work with people who are at that age range. I don't allow 16+ or younger, sorry.
I'm not just opening this project here, it will be also open on my other socials to my followers and non-followers.
You must have a good quality mic! If your audio quality sounds poor, then your audition submission will be immediately rejected.
I will also reject/turn down your submission if I feel as if the character's voice doesn't match with either the description or design.
You must have some motivation and energy!
This is unpaid work; you must be willing to do the voice for free!
Looking for 3 female VAs and 2 male VAs.
Your auditions will be checked when I am not busy. Feel free to send in multiple takes!
If you are accepted, I will send you a PDF of your character's lines (highlighted in yellow) via email or Discord. Instructions will be at the top of the PDF.
Due to a setting on Discord I have turned on that prevents random people adding me, I will have to add you to my friend's list manually. Check your friend requests.

I tend to get busy, so if I'm not replying back on time, it means that I have life stuff going on.
I am not a voice coach! This is my first time opening voice auditions, so I'm nervous. I will try to help you at the best of my ability.
I will evaluate your .mp3 files of your read lines when I get the chance. If it sounds good, then congrats! You are in and will be featured at the end credits of the trailer! I will tag you online in the trailer when it's posted if you have any social media platform.

Trailer releases June 30th at 6am PST/9am EST!
I have finished editing the trailer and have scheduled it to appear on my YouTube channel for June 30th at 6am PST/9am EST! I want to say thanks to those who auditioned and thanks to the VAs who brought my characters to life. All of you are amazing!

An update. Still looking for 3 female voice actors!
Hi everyone and happy Friday.
I just want to thank Kenny and Carionto for submitting their .mp3 file with their lines to me! Both of you have been great.
Monday, I received my proof copy of Volume 2 in the mail from Comix Wellspring (the guys who print out my books) and approved of it, and today, I got a status update in my email that my 25 copies are in final production. I will have a planned deadline around June or July.
The struggle has been real gathering female voice actors for this trailer. My online friend who voices Rena for the trailer made a Discord and included her friends who might be helping me with voicing either Lass, Beauty, or Asai. But, there haven't been any new updates as of this writing.
Pushing this casting call online has been hard, especially since SaGia is an original project that not a lot of people heard about. I made a post on my Instagram on Tuesday saying how frustrated I was with social media and promoting SaGia on it, that I will be not be active for long/taking a break online. I even tried my YT channel. Nothing.
I had two people contact me who were interested in the project, but I never heard from them at all.
I guess my only option is to pay $30 a month just to get this project featured. I hate to do it, but it's my only way if I want more submissions. The home page of Casting Call Club is nothing but featured projects. Another option is that I will just have to do the voices of the 3 female characters myself.
If anyone who receives this status update sees this, please spread the word about this casting call. I only need three female voice actors for this project since both male characters (Lain and the Mysterious Man) are taken. If not... that's okay, I guess. I'm never giving up with this project, and like I said, my only way to get more submissions is to pay $30 a month to get this project featured since I'm using a free account. I will have to do more promoting alone.
I might be unable to check submissions tomorrow morning since I have a convention I'm going to, so I might check for any submissions at night.
