Hello everyone! Safe Haven's first Casting Call is here!
What is planned for Safe Haven?
We've been working on a purely written story fora while now, though we'd like to branch out now! Our first thoughts were to simply share our writing via Tumblr and possibly other sites, though we were hoping for a little more change. We plan on making a webcomic and releasing it on multiple sites!
The story Safe Haven itself is a post-apocalyptic Crime Fiction/Mystery story mixed with supernatural elements.
Warning: This story will include topics such as death, murder, cannibalism and similar. We will try not to be too heavy on these topics, but concerning the already established plot points, these will be sure to at least be mentioned at some point.
What is the story about?
As a few renowned scientists collaborate with a group of highly talented High school students to work on a medicine, mysterious circumstances cause something within the yet untested drug to mutate. Something goes horribly wrong and people who have been under exposure of the drug for too long start to... change... In weird ways. People that are infected turn into mindless, violent and blood-thirsty creatures, and the deadly virus continues to spread further and further, causing absolute mayhem to break out in the region.
It's not safe to go out anymore, and people are unsure who they can trust. Many shut themselves in or fled, but what about those who decided to stay? Those who couldn't flee yet and those that are planning to?
A small group of students decide to hide out in the abandoned buildings of Himitsu High School, and wait for a good opportunity to seek out for the potential location of a shelter. Though their plans quickly change upon meeting a familiar face at the school, who convinces them to stay at the school.

There are a few pre-existing characters, though we plan on at least slightly redesigning them and adding completely new ones. You don't need to be extraordinarily good at things like composition or shading, as long as you can make unique and original designs!

Though we've been doing fairly well making our own story until now, we might need someone who can also come up with interesting plot, additions to the story or help us develop the characters and the world around them a little more! We might also need help with dialogues etc.
