Rumpelstiltskin: Trailer
Project Overview
This is a small indie analog horror teaser project titled “Rumpelstiltskin”. It is a 30–60 second proof-of-concept designed to explore a dark, atmospheric reinterpretation of the classic fairytale in an analog horror style.
The story focuses on themes of greed, consequences, and unseen entities manipulating human decisions. The tone is psychological, eerie, and heavily inspired by VHS-style horror aesthetics.
This project is not a full film production but a short experimental teaser meant to establish tone, atmosphere, and visual identity for a potential larger series.
I am currently looking for collaborators in animation, voice acting, and sound design to bring this concept to life. The focus is on atmosphere and storytelling rather than high-end or complex animation.
A Google Docs link with the full proof-of-concept script is provided for reference.
This is a non-paid voluntary collaboration. Full credit will be given to all contributors. Depending on reception and interest, future continuation of the project may be possible.

The animation will be based on the script and storyboard. There are no strict technical requirements, and I’m aiming for a collaborative and flexible workflow. The focus is on atmosphere and storytelling rather than detailed or complex animation.
This is a small indie analog horror teaser, so minimal or stylized animation is completely fine.
Software or tools are not provided, and this is a non-paid voluntary collaboration. However, contributors will receive full credit.

The audio design is a key part of this project. I’m looking for someone who can help create an analog horror atmosphere using sound design (ambient noise, static, subtle horror effects, and basic mixing).
This is a small 30-second teaser, so the workload is minimal and focused on atmosphere rather than complex full production sound mixing.
Creative freedom is welcome — the goal is to enhance tension and immersion through sound rather than strict technical requirements.
This is a non-paid voluntary collaboration. No software or tools will be provided, but full credit will be given.
