Robots & Strippers (working title)

Robots & Strippers (working title)

Project Overview

This will be a short student animated film about conflict between robots and the humans that operate them.

Three voice actors are needed to bring this project to fruition. Payment will be in GBP and in PayPal. (You can use xe.com to look at currency conversion rates.) I also ask that voice actors stay committed until June, as additional lines might be needed.

The Commander is sociopathic, bureaucratic, and will vaporize his own comrades if he deems necessary. The Commander is a high-ranking individual within a large corporation, and loves being in charge of other people. Due to his experience, he is desensitized to violence and usually views battles from the safety of a command center.

  • Test pilot just flat-lined!

  • Well, I got a meeting to get to. Meeting with strippers and ice cream.

  • (Do your best evil laugh.)

The Mech Pilot is overconfident and (as one of his lines suggests) doesn't think he will loose to an AI.

  • I refuse to be wasted by an AI.

  • Why didn't you vaporize me?

  • Reverse that order!

Announcer

Role assigned to: Rachel Heath

The Announcer is an automated voice in both the command center, and in mech cockpits. The voice is calm, authoritative and usually brings bad news.

To record many of Announcer's lines, please stop and restart the recording at every dash (- symbol), as this will give the voice a disjointed effect present in pre-recorded announcements.

  • Flatline.

  • Overtime - is not authorised.

  • Suntetsu will cause - level 3 - vaporization.
