Who is Roadkill

Roadkill is a fictional horror-punk band in need of a vocalist!

Roadkill is a multimedia project starting in 2020.

Upcoming projects include a comedy webcomic/Webtoon, and an RPG Maker video game.

What is Roadkill

For Roadkill, music is a key component. There will be original music accompanying all related projects, and some of those songs will feature vocals.

As well as being in the projects themselves, the songs created will have full versions released as stand-alone's on YouTube and streaming, with animated music videos and visualisers.

The first/current song to work on will be for the webcomic trailer. The trailer is 90% done- a fully voiced motion comic- the only 10% needed is the final version of the first official Roadkill song that will feature in the trailer (the demo is fully made). After release, the song will be uploaded separately with an animated video.

To create the feeling of a real-life band, consistent vocals are required for main and backing vocals. In-universe this will be the singing voices of the main characters Zombunny and Zack.

Whilst I have currently written the one song needed so far, this does not have to be one-sided, and I'm expecting to collaborate with the music in every sense! Additional musicians are not a current priority, however it is not out of the question, just not something I can currently manage or afford.

TLDR

Punk vocalists needed for my furry Horror-punk band, long-term yet sporadic commitment!

Disclaimer

Do not ignore the "horror" aspect of horror-punk. Whilst Roadkill is largely parody, all related projects will not hold back from graphic and mature imagery. If you are uncomfortable with themes of death, violence, murder and sex, this is not a band for you.

Payment is deferred. Work with the intention of an unpaid/voluntary basis, but any money gained from potential music sales would be split amongst those who made the music. Please do not expect much, I currently make no money from this passion project.
