Resident Evil Comic. Artists Needed
Project Overview
Hello! Thank you for coming over to discuss art styles and audition for this project. If you do not have any talent involving art but know someone who does, please send them a link to this project.
This biggest disclaimer is simple. You must be 18 or older to work on this project. Please understand that I do not work well with anyone younger.
Around 2017 I had started writing a book that was based on the game franchise, Resident Evil. Only a few days ago, I had finished writing it and wanted to make proper book covers as well as discuss with an artist on making a comic series that's another Resident Evil project. I personally wanted to have an artist who could portray an art style that was similar to the Marhawa Desire or Heavenly Island mangas, but the more I wrote the story, I realized that I was going to need a softer and edgier tone to it. If the art style could somehow be a mix of Naoki Serizawa (Resident Evil official Manga artist) and Takahiro Arai (art style from the Cirque Du Freak manga) it would probably the perfect design that I would ask for. feedback would always be given and my direction for the story is pretty sound. I have one more book and one comic that I want to make. I want to focus on that comic as well as make a comic style of the book I have already written as well as the one I'm going to write.

This is my first time working on comics so I have small terms and conditions. The story will be digital so digital art is mandatory. It's easier to transfer back and forth if it's in a format that's digital. You must be an adult to draw this rather gruesome and gory art. I do not want to give due dates but I will be requesting to see your progress every now and then. The final demand is that you have a Discord account that you can share your screen with as you draw.
Payment is a discussion that must be addressed later down the road. If you prefer to help this project without payment that would help a lot but I understand some do this to put food on the table and I will help to the best of what my allowance allows.

A background artist will be a difficult job the art still for the background would very similar to the style that Marhawa Desire would have. The majority of the story will be focused on indoor environments that are rather bland and colorless mostly on purpose. The stories that I'm working on will mostly take place in large buildings. if you can portray a style like this, I will increase your pay which is $25 per page.

The character list is pretty large and I would prefer to have one person doing all of the characters for the sake of consistency. Payment will be $15 per character on each page. The art style should be a mix of the Cirque Du Freak manga style along with the Resident Evil Manga art if you can blend them perfectly payment will increase. The BOW's need to look exactly like how they did in the other games and animated movies. they are the only things that demand realism because they are the really memorable characters of the franchise. Zombies can have a style similar to the said manga designs that I have referenced in the character design role. Payment will be $30 per page. there are scenes where whole pages are engulfed in undead and those specific pages we can discuss price. Send a link to art that you have done in the past that would allow me to think that you can do grotesque and bloody designs similar to the Hunter or Tyrant
