Project Overview
EDIT: Thought I'd add the important note that this project is very LGBT+, with little to no cishet characters, so if you take issue with that, this project is probably not for you!
Hey everyone! I'm looking for a single English-speaking voice actor to dub my RWBY fanfiction, Renewal- like an audiobook! While the fic's chapter's are short, the fic itself is long and ongoing, and not all of my potential readers are able or willing to read large amounts of text. This fanfiction is a big passion project of mine, so I want it to be accessible to as many people as possible.
The project will not need to be completed all at once! Like the written version, I'm quite happy to post audio versions of the chapters one-at-a-time, or at least in chunks, so there will be no requirements to record the entire project in one sitting. Deadlines for recording would not be strict at all- I want this to be something the voiceover artist can enjoy working on and do so at their own pace.
While not necessary, I would prefer the narrator to be a RWBY fan! This is to ensure that names of characters canon to the original story can be pronounced correctly, and to understand the weight of certain scenes.

Must be able to speak clearly and slowly, as well as display a variety of emotions and switch tone quickly. Ability to speak in various different voices is appreciated, but not strictly necessary.
Luna’s hair was never tidy.
It wasn’t that she never brushed it; she did- every morning, as much as she possibly could. But she had a habit of playing with it when she was nervous- running her fingers through it, twisting it around her fingers, pulling it back from her head, or, when it was tied up, running her hands over her ponytail. And Luna was always, always nervous.
Astra dropped her bags and whipped back around with a long gasp. “Holy shit.” She darted up to look him full in the face, feeling like an idiot for not recognizing him sooner.
“You’re Jaune Arc?” She gasped. “Leader of Team JNPR? One of the greatest teams to ever graduate any Huntsman Academy ever? You’re a professor here!?”
Taking a deep breath, Lily placed her hand on the door’s handle and pushed it open slowly and hesitantly. As she walked in, three heads turned to stare at her, and Luna stood up quickly.
Lily cast her eyes to the ground, unable to look her in the eye. “I’m sorry…I…” Tears welled up in her eyes and she didn’t try to stop them this time. “I was embarrassed and angry and I shouldn’t have yelled…”
