Project Overview

Renegade's Paradise is going to be a dark fantasy animation series, following the lives of an array of children, teenagers, and young adults in a dystopian future setting. It will feature a diverse cast of characters, and is looking for a diverse cast of people to work behind the scenes, whether it be for art, animation, music, or voice acting. This series aims to give opportunities to those who may not be given as many in life.

The story follows a teenage boy called Quin, who has only recently been forced out of his home, and is still adapting to life within the depths of his city, Novus. Although things seem miserable at first, after meeting a mysterious creature, known as an Absence, who promises Quin new opportunities in the city, thing begin to look up for him. However, soon he will be forced to realise that life within Novus is far from that of a typical city.

Quin's voice should preferrably sound quite young, and be androgynous or male sounding. The voice actor should be able to pull off a variety of emotions, and must be able to preform a stutter. However, the specifics of Quin's voice is up to your own interpretation. Any accents are okay for this role.

  • [Nervous, but trying to hide it. Slight stutter] "Yeah, my name's Quin. I've not really been around here before, though. Is there any chance you know how to get to Crown Station from here?"

  • [Here, you should try and immitate Quin freaking out. You can do this one as you please, but you should try and include short breathing, sobbing, and possibly any small exclaimations made by him.]

  • [This line should be delivered confidently. Try to sound displeased and bitter, but not too angry.] "Do you even care that I'm homeless, or do all of you mindless sheep lack empathy?"
