Red Velvet Universe - RECALL!
Project Overview
Lonely Wolf Treat Universe is a fandub project of game creator NomNomNami's excellent LGBTQ-friendly games– namely the ones that take place in the Lonely Wolf Treat universe, which, for simplicity's sake, I will be calling "Red Velvet" due to the many, many, MANY food names in there.
The games that I am INCLUDING in Red Velvet due to cameos of certain characters or mentions are, in chronological order:
- Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet
- First Kiss at a Spooky Soiree
A few more games that don't take place in Red Velvet but are going to be alternative universes/extra games are:
- KAIMA
NomNomNami also has a comic called 'Another Piece of Candy' that I may ask the characters that end up being assigned to help dub as well.
You do not need a Discord to take on the projects, but you do need to have a fairly good-quality microphone and I would recommend that you watch a playthrough/play through the games yourself before auditioning for a role (although, you don't have to! It might be fun coming in blind.).
All in all, have fun with all of the various characters and friendly people! Currently, this isn't a paid project, but that may change in the future.

Juju is a minor antagonist in the games Lonely Wolf Treat and Friendly Bunny Mochi.
Juju, or Manjuu (full name) is Mochi's cousin, and treats most predators like, well, what they supposedly are– dangerous. This often means she comes off as mean and rude towards them, although she's only doing it to protect everyone in Frosting. She often gets frustrated at Mochi for helping or being nice to these predators, and her temper is easily riled up. She's... not the nicest person.
Don't you know how many of our friends– no, of our FAMILY– have been eaten by those predators?
Shut up you stupid fox! Predators like you are what's making this world an AWFUL PLACE!
(shocked, a little angry) You still think I'm wrong, don't you?
Clementine is one of Mochi's neighbors. She is very laid-back, often looks a bit sleepy, and friendly. She doesn't talk very much, but when she does she is very cordial and friendly.
Oh, hey Mochi. Are you here to have a sleepover?
Devipuri? I actually have some in my fridge, do you want it?
Ritseiku is an eccentric rabbit who's often very flamboyant and dramatic. He's friendly, just a bit... weird. (He also claims that he's an alien.)
Then I will give you a name based on another aspect of your heart... it's warmth! You will be BLAZING Mochi!
Kamilla is a demon that Eleni (in Friendly Bunny Mochi) summons from the Netherworld. She's a bit cold and aloof at times, but she is still actually quite friendly and nice– especially for a demon. She takes her job pretty seriously, though. I'd imagine her voice is a bit scratchy and deeper.
(dark and creepy) WHAT FOOL DARES AWAKEN THE GREAT KAMILLA?
(nervous) I-I'm sorry! I've just been acting how I thought demons were SUPPOSED to act!! Now you probably have the wrong impression... I'm not very menacing...
(very nervous) A-ah... is that so... (whispering) SAVE ME.
The titular protagonist of Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet, Syrup is a candy alchemist who isn't very friendly. She's very strict about her ways of making candy and has a high dislike for magic users. She's also a little rude to people, even people she considers friends, but once you become good friends with her, she'll stay a good friend with you and be supportive... if still a little abrasive at times. She's distrustful and reserved as well.
(startled and a little weirded out) What? No, you weirdo! I'm not eating you! I'm not gonna eat a person, it's too weird!
Gel... Jelly... something... hrm, no... what am I doing? I'm trying to come up with a name for her. I can't just keep calling her candy weirdo. How about... Gumdrop?
... I don't hate you at all, Butterscotch. I never have.
Butterscotch is an immature, easily flustered witch. She is very defensive about her body and how people see her, and she's Syrup's rival. She is also easily ticked off, and often acts arrogant or flamboyant... in reality, she's extremely self-conscious.
(nervous, gain in confidence and arrogance) H-hahaha! Who's running away? This is a public road, we're well within our rights to loiter here!
Th-that's because... I had to send her over in flawless condition! I showed a lot of restraint, you know, but it paid off! She's perfect...
(very loud and angry) CALM? I'M CALM AS FRICK! EVERYTHING'S UNDER CONTROL!! MY EMOTIONS ARE COMPLETELY IN CHECK, SO MY MAGIC SHOULD BE WORKING JUST FINE! (quiet and upset) .... it's cold... what if I can't get us out of here? Are we gonna die because of me...?
Marzipan is a light witch who is shy but kind. She's often very nice to people and friendly, but she's very shy and it takes her a while to get to make friends with you– although she does try her best. Marzipan is the main protagonist of First Kiss at a Spooky Soiree.
The party where I'll finally have my first kiss.... (slight panic) I wanna go home!
(giggling) Ohhh my god, stop! I'm letting you help me so never say that stuff in front of anybody ever.
2I'm a light witch, but not light enough to float! Ha ha... ha... bad joke.
Jam is Marzipan's best friend and very outgoing and friendly. She makes friends with lots of people, and she's very close with Marzipan, close enough for people to mistake them as a couple. Jam is also very encouraging towards Marzipan. I imagine her voice might be a bit deep, either that or very... catty.
(whispering) Ahhh, a cool-looking demon lady! Go for it!
(flustered) Nonono we're just– do we really give that impression? Aw man... (a little disappointed)
Wh-when you said that anyone was fine... I thought... I thought you meant anyone but me, I guess...?
Vinegar is a witch who split her soul apart from her (starting-to-rot) body. In her soul form, she is much more energetic and easily angered, while in her body form she is apathetic and tired. When combined together, she is still quite apathetic, but she's also more likely to show emotion.
(scary) DON'T TOUCH ME! (pause, apologetic, a little awkward) ... sorry. Oversensitive.
(upset) AAAUGH! Being incorporeal is the WORST! I just want a little taste...!
I'm Vin. Short for Vinegar. Sorry about... the ghost kiss.
Romance Detective is a dramatic young woman and... very eccentric. Her mission in life is to solve crimes of passion and romance, and she often acts mysterious. This is, however, mostly an act, because she wears sunglasses to hide her unnaturally-colored eyes. She is also stoic.
(dramatic) Love... is the world's most powerful force. It can drive people mad... make them do terrible things. And when they do... I, Romance Detective, vow to carry out Romantic Justice!
If you mean to say there was a reason other than to appreciate the beautiful works of art displayed on these walls... then no, I am not aware of what that might be.
... this is... my secret. (starts to cry a little) I was afraid... that you might not be able to accept this part of me. That... you might leave me.
Romance Cop, also known as Chrys, is a kind, proactive person, and one of the protagonists in the Romance Detective series. Chrys is polite and sensible, although she is also a little bit of a stickler for the rules and is very good at enforcing them as a member of the police force.
(slightly confessional) I'm not normally upfront about this because sometimes people can get weird when they find out you're related to a celebrity but... Canary is actually my cousin.
(Meekly) Um, excuse me, ma'am, this is a crime scene. No civilians allowed.
(Completely besotted, a little crazy) Detective... I... m-my feelings, I know... it's been hard for me, trying to keep them out all this time... trying to be so professional... this is the real me... my true feelings... it just took a while for me to realize it... I'm sorry... But I really– (confused) ... huh?
Stephan loves taking care of flowers. He's very popular with the ladies, and he always says he's taken... but his one true love is botany. He's very kind and patient with everyone, including children.
(a little startled) I-I would never throw a kitten...!
Impending doom, huh? Being a policewoman and a detective must be tough work...
The Police Chief is a petite and robust person who was Romance Detective's first real friend. She is kind, if sometimes a little stubborn and firm, and can be quite friendly.
(slightly menacing) Friendship is no match for romance! But with Leandre's roses... everyone will be equally connected!
(a little awkward) Don't tell the other cops, but you two are my favorite subordinates. All I'm looking for is a nice (cough) PLATONIC relationship here.
(a little concerned) ... you sure that's the best way to describe it? That was a lot of thorns...
Aster is a very serious student and very smart, however her outward emotions are sometimes a little... difficult to discern. She is a responsible and promising young girl, and although she is outwardly reserved, she actually has a nice sense of humor and loves to tease people that she's close to.
(plainly) If I did happen to see something, I wouldn't have any proof. I would rather not make baseless accusations against my classmates.
Hmhmhm... heehee.. AHAHAHA! (bursts out laughing) That's the most... ridiculous... story... I've ever... ahahahah! I'm sorry, I'm so... pfffhahahaha! You wanted to break my face?! What kind of motivation is that?!
(teasing) In other words, your feelings manifested into an irresistible impulse to try and upset me. (chuckles)
Delphine is a serious, somewhat taciturn woman. She is Canary's personal bodyguard, and has been dating Canary for the past year and is very intimately close with the girl. She is basically pretty quiet, but very polite. (Unless you're a stalker. Then you end up in a trash can.)
Good morning Officer Chrys, Romance Detective. Miss Canary will be with you momentarily.
(Serious, slightly amused) Your voice is very enchanting, but no, I'm sure that wasn't it.
(slightly crazy, love-struck) Miss Canary! I'll take you away from these undeserving masses! I can't bear to keep our relationship a secret any longer! Let's elope!
Ivy is an adolescent, rebellious punk who enjoys graffiti and breaking the rules. She's a little rambunctious and has a teensy crush on Aster. It must also be mentioned that her ultimate, secret goal, is to marry a cute girl and be a good wife to her.
(mischievous, a little wicked) This time I'll send her into rage mode for sure... heheh.
(angry) But you never react AT ALL!
(nervous) Weird seeing you here at school in the middle of the night! Oh, I know, you came to, uhh, catch whoever it was that wrecked your project! Y-yeah, uh, me too!
Narciso is a sous chef at a restaurant and very friendly and kind. He has a boyfriend (Sage) and enjoys taking care of his boyfriend. He is also very helpful.
(a bit shy) Ahh, hello, yes, he's um... he's in the back room. I don't think he realized you're here yet, so if you could quietly...
... ah... too late.
(slightly embarrassed) Oh, um, well this is embarrassing... he's actually my boyfriend! I know him better than anyone.
(conspirational, helpful) This is your chance to sneak out!
Sage is a very emotional person to tends to overreact and panic, and when I say overreact, I MEAN overreact. He's still very sweet and innocent, though, and he's very kind.
(nervous, a little upset) N-Narciso! I-I'm so sorry, you must hate me, but I didn't have anywhere else to go so...
(a bit awkward) Y-yeah... I felt so bad about what happened with Heather, I just couldn't let her let me off the hook! So I asked her to keep me in jail for a night...
Romance Detective's mom is an accomplished biochemist who seems very serious but actually has a nice sense of humor. She is very kind and patient, and has not been seen to have any sort of emotional outbursts.
During my college years, I had this... friend. Her name was Rosemary.It was the two of us who had started this. We'd dedicated years of our life to this research, all leading up to that moment. So... this, too, I went along with. (uncomfortable now, a little shaky) And... it felt wrong. All wrong.
(serious) Yes, but I had to get ahold of you somehow. Besides, I came prepared. I have this... Romance Umbrella. (she's dead serious while saying this.)
Romance Thief (aka Daisy) is a child who prides herself on her ability to sneak around undetected. She is nimble but not the smartest person, and has a crush on Stephan. (Who is over twice her age.) She's a little rude sometimes, but she's only ten, so her behavior is generally just childish.
(slightly panicked) Noo! I've been good! Don't call my parents!
(cheerful) No way! We're even plu-tonic friends now! Right, Stephy?
Despite being one of the main antagonists of the game, Leandre is actually a very idealistic woman who wants to fill the world with her own brand of love, making her very easy to manipulate and allow... someone else to manipulate her.
(slightly crazy, lovestruck) But you're always finding new ways to spread out love... first through that smoke, and then to the moon! You're absolutely brilliant!
(slightly coquettish, flirty) Ooh, so assertive... I can play that game. Hmhm (giggles), I won't cooperate until she removes those shades.
(dejected, depressed, maybe a bit tearful) So I can't escape... what path is there left for someone like me?
Venus is Cupid's mother, but unlike what many people think, she is extremely immature, selfish, and manipulative. She often acts cruel when she tries to gain popularity and therefore, power. Even though she is Cupid's mother she acts a bit like a spoiled child.
(crazy, lovestruck) Yes! That's right, my darling child!
(cruel, menacing, still crazy and lovestruck) It hurt, didn't it? Seeing the pain in her eyes when she looks at you.
(shocked) Wh... (bursts into tears) WWWAAAAAAH! You're so mean! I didn't raise you like this!!
Lotte is a confident, outgoing teen who is very charismatic. She is cheerful and very determined, and also is positive that ghosts exists. She never backs down from a challenge and is quite brave.
(determined) If I were a ghost... I would be... this way!
(excited but controlled) Hey, Maggie! You like taking pictures, right? Have you ever taken a picture of a ghost?
(upset but excited) Nooo, she's gone! Let's follow her, Maggie!
Magnolia is very talkative and loves her crush, Lotte. She is extremely friendly, if not easily frightened initially, and is very agreeable when it comes to anything involving Lotte. She also likes taking pictures.
Tola is a princess from ancient times who is very friendly and talkative. She is often late to her meetings with Asun, the princess of a neighboring/rival kingdom, but is very loving to Asun. She is also very proactive and takes charge very well.
Ghosts? N-no, I don't think so... (slightly lovestruck, very happy) I only ever take pictures of you~

Asuuuuun! I'm sorryyyyy! I know I'm late, but I'm not here as a representative as my kingdom! I'm here as your friend!
Issa is a very strange and whimsical person although she is also threatening and somewhat frightening. She is also rude and sometimes pragmatic, and surprisingly lonely. She also tries to scare Mell, but it doesn't work so well after a few days. Think something like Undyne for the voice as a reference.
GAHAHAHA! Guess it's not a very good measure of character after all!
(giggly, almost like a teenage girl with a crush) Gehehehe... can't believe you actually carried me to bed.
(angry) MELL! I CAN TAKE ALL YOU F***ERS OUT, DON'T TEST ME! That girl is MY hostage! GIVE HER BACK AND I WON'T STAB ANYONE ELSE.
Time is a kind person who will do anything to protect her friend, including going back in time and erasing possible futures. She also is a victim of amnesia, and she can be quite serious.
Darkness... darkness and nothing, in all directions. At some point I started thinking, shouldn't there be something here? Something, anywhere?
(chuckles) It was nothing, really.
(tearful, a little afraid) What have you done to Space... and the stars?! You took away all the beauty, now all that's left is the void!
Nil is jealous of Space because she used to be Space– Time used to be her girlfriend. She is, however, a kind person by nature, and is only trying to get rid of Space to establish the old relationship she used to have with Time. She also remains calm, with very little outward emotion.
(angry) YOU'RE the copy. Why won't you stay erased?
(pleading)... Time. Don't go back anymore.
... I am Nil. Emptiness... Void... whatever you want to call me.
