RED is an original highschool thriller I'll be hosting. The piece will be a video adaptation of one of my portfolio works, RED. The story revolves around two teenage girls, Aliyah and Aria, who experience hell in under two days. For this project, I'll need a minimum of 15 voice actors.
What I want from you
All voice actors must speak English. North-American accents are preferred for all characters, however not necessary. If a thick accent can be hidden, covered, or not revealed in some way, then that is also fine.
The ability to portray extremely strong emotions is essential. This includes-- crying, yelling, and screaming. Please record in an area where the volume of your voice does not need to be hushed.
Repeating your lines is not necessary, or requested. No tones (angry, trembling voice, etc.) other than the one asked for is needed.
No obvious voice changers or otherwise speed and pitch altercations.
Deadline
The deadline for your lines (in days) is stated on each character card. The casting call will stay up for as long as possible, but the line(s) will be sent immediately after being cast.
Requirements
Due to this being a non-profit project, technical and professional quality isn't as expected. However, try to record in an area, or with a mic, that doesn't allow an over-abundance of background noise.
You must be 13 or older to audition. The primary route of contact will be Discord, and that is a part of their TOS. Additionally, make sure to enter your discord name and tag after your audition.
All of the roles have gender requirements-- however, if you can imitate said gender (realistically), that's allowed too.
Extra notes
- most of the audition lines aren't going to be used or referred too during the mini-movie
- if you're cast, you may be asked to voice a background character with minimal lines later on
- credit will be given to your CCC account if not otherwise specified
