Project Overview

There are two established universes in our midst. One is a world built upon ordinary circumstances and lives. The other is known for wonders beyond our imaginations.

That particular mysterious world is known as Destiny. It has always been revered as a place of harmony, opportunity, and magic. The inhabitants are much like those in the Normal; they encourage love, individuality, and finding your inner strengths and truths.

Some individuals from each universe are lucky enough to have been granted powers from the magic within Destiny. These people are able to harvest their core values and center it around their magic, as well as travel between both worlds. Those lucky enough to have been bestowed these gifts vow to use their powers to protect these two worlds from destruction. They are called the Written.

However, in recent times, the world of Destiny has been in peril. Darkness spreads and threatens to tear apart the glories that Destinians hold close to their hearts. The Corruption affects everyone and everything, and if this evil goes unchecked for too long, then the Normal may fall to its knees as well.

The new Written are rising, and they have choices to make. Will they fall to the Corruption? Or will they take their fates into their own hands and live to tell the tale?

RE:WRITTEN is the tale of five high school students trying to change their fates in two connected worlds. This story takes the themes of magical kids, Alice in Wonderland, and high school "slice of life", then throws it all together! This tale has been updating every Saturday at Noon EST on Tapas and Wattpad. If you'd like to check it out, feel free to check out the links provided here!

Before you audition, there are a few things you should know about this project! Please make sure you read through these thoroughly.

1. RE:WRITTEN is inclusive, meaning it supports all minorities. If you are seen exhibiting bigoted behavior, you will be removed from the project without hesitation. I want my story to be a positive experience!

2. There are instances of music within RE:WRITTEN. If you are comfortable with singing, great! It not, that's also okay! We can find somebody to help! But if you are comfortable with singing, please include a small snippet of you singing within your audition.

3. If you don't get a role this time around, that's okay! RE:WRITTEN is a series, and this is only the first book. Season Two will be casting Winter 2022, so stay tuned!

Aura is the mother of Amai and Violetta. She has importance to her daughters' stories.

Aura has a mid voice range, and is usually very comforting.

  • (sighing, then comforting/motherly) No. It's just a story, sweetheart. But if Destiny were real... you'd know it was.

  • (concerned) Something is telling me that they will. I don't know what will happen when they do, but they won't be the same when they return.

  • (softly) I've missed you so much. Oh god, I thought I'd never see you again.
