A Minecraft Cinematic Series
"For thirty years, the world has forgotten what lies beyond the wall..."
Thirty years ago, a devastating viral outbreak consumed an entire state. With no cure in sight and no safe way to eliminate the infection, the government made an unimaginable decision—they sealed the state off from the rest of the world.
No one enters.
No one leaves.
Inside the Quarantine Zone, civilization collapsed generations ago. Cities have become forests of concrete and rust, survivors fight over scraps, gangs rule the streets, and the infected lurk around every corner.
Most people born within the Zone have never even heard of the outside world.
Among them is Mara, a young survivor who has known nothing but hardship and survival. Guided by the lessons of the man who raised her, she has learned to survive without losing her compassion in a world that rewards cruelty.
When she encounters a mysterious scientist claiming to know the way to a legendary city where life is said to be safe, Mara embarks on a journey that will uncover secrets buried for decades.
As whispers of an unseen military force begin to surface and long-forgotten truths emerge from the shadows, Mara finds herself at the center of a mystery far larger than anyone could have imagined.
Some secrets were buried for a reason.
And some walls were never meant to be crossed.
About the Project
QUARANTINE is a story-driven Minecraft cinematic series inspired by grounded post-apocalyptic dramas rather than traditional zombie action. While the infected are a constant threat, the heart of the story lies in its characters, moral dilemmas, and the consequences of choices made decades before the series begins.
Expect a slow-burning mystery with cinematic storytelling, memorable characters, emotional moments, and high-stakes action that builds throughout the season.

Character DescriptionOld Ben has survived in the Quarantine Zone for longer than most people have been alive. After finding Mara as a child, he raised her as his own, teaching her everything from hunting and scavenging to reading people and making difficult choices. Around the campfires of the Zone, he's known as a witty old man with a story for every occasion and a joke ready even on the worst days.
Unlike many survivors, Ben refuses to let the world strip away his humanity. He believes that surviving means nothing if you become the very thing you're afraid of. His compassion often puts him at odds with more ruthless survivors, but his wisdom and reputation have earned him the respect of nearly everyone who knows him.
To Mara, Ben isn't just a mentor—he's the closest thing she's has ever had to a father.

Character DescriptionJune Mercer is one of Mara's closest friends and one of the few people capable of making her laugh. While she's more than capable of surviving the horrors of the Quarantine Zone, June refuses to let the apocalypse erase who she is.
Over the years, she's scavenged old dresses, jewelry, ribbons, perfume bottles, makeup, and countless other remnants of the world before the outbreak. She carefully restores and wears whatever she can, taking pride in looking feminine even when surrounded by ruined cities and infected. Many survivors tease her for it, but she couldn't care less.
Beneath her cheerful, girly exterior is a resourceful survivor who's quick on her feet and surprisingly fearless when someone she loves is in danger. She's witty, playful, and never misses an opportunity to tease Mara, especially about how serious she is all the time.
June believes that surviving isn't enough—you have to keep living. To her, putting on a ribbon or wearing an old necklace isn't vanity; it's a reminder that the world was once beautiful, and maybe it can be again.

Selene Vale believes the Quarantine Zone taught her one undeniable truth: men may possess the strength to shape the world, but women possess the power to shape the men who shape it.
Rather than fight and scavenge like other survivors, Selene weaponizes her femininity, charm, and affection to influence powerful men into fighting her battles for her. What began as a desperate survival tactic has become something she genuinely enjoys. Every successful manipulation gives her a thrill, and she privately finds it amusing that men capable of commanding armies can be swayed by a few carefully chosen words and the feeling of being admired.
Selene almost exclusively manipulates men, knowing other women are far less susceptible to her methods. Worse, she has come to view those women as competition. She quietly engineers their downfall through the men she's cultivated, hoping to make herself increasingly indispensable as a source of feminine affection and companionship.
This puts her directly at odds with Mara Reed. Selene considers Mara's independence tragically stubborn; in her eyes, a woman's greatest strength isn't matching a man's physical power, but leveraging her femininity to win his heart, earn his loyalty, and convince him to carry her burdens instead.
Selene isn't simply cruel—she's a woman whose once-practical survival strategy has gradually twisted into an obsession with influence, attention, and control.
Voice Direction: Warm, graceful, feminine, and effortlessly charismatic. Selene rarely sounds threatening. Her compliments feel genuine, her concern sounds sincere, and even her manipulation is wrapped in kindness. She should sound like someone who can make a man feel like the most important person in the room while quietly steering him exactly where she wants him to go.

Character DescriptionSilas Crowe is the undisputed leader of the Onsatta, the most feared gang anywhere inside the Quarantine Zone.
Where other gangs rob, extort, or kill, the Onsatta leave behind something far worse—entire settlements stripped bare, their victims never found. Around campfires, survivors whisper the truth that no one wants to believe:
The Onsatta eat people.
Crowe doesn't see cannibalism as monstrous.
He sees it as practical.
To him, civilization died thirty years ago. Morality died with it.
"If a deer is food... and a man is meat... what's the difference?"
Those who follow him do so out of fear as much as loyalty. He has built the Onsatta into a disciplined hunting force rather than a rabble of raiders. They wear crude masks to hide their identities, attack from rooftops and alleyways, and vanish before anyone can organize a response.
Few have ever seen Crowe's real face.
Fewer still have lived after seeing it.
Despite his brutality, Crowe isn't reckless. He's intelligent, observant, and patient. He studies his prey before striking, often allowing panic to spread through settlements for days before making his move. By the time victims realize they're being hunted...
It's already too late.
His greatest weakness is arrogance.
Thirty years of terrorizing the Zone has convinced him that no one can challenge him. He laughs at the idea of heroes, governments, or justice. Every rival who has ever opposed him ended up dead—or worse.
When Mara begins disrupting his operations, he initially finds it amusing.
Eventually...
He takes it personally.
AppearanceCrowe wears a cracked white theatrical mask stained with dried blood, obscuring half his face. His weathered brown coat hangs loosely over patched clothing collected from countless victims. A heavy revolver rests comfortably in one hand, though he is equally deadly with a machete.
Without his mask, he's just another man.
