Project Overview
DISCLAIMER!! - Press X to Interact does not belong to me (aka Rui), this belongs to my dear best friend SQUIP, I will link their Instagram! I am just creating this project on CCC just to help them find people to voice act their OCs! Please go check their page and support them, their artwork and PXI series, in general, are amazing! WHAT IS PXI: PRESS X TO INTERACT ABOUT?
Press X to Interact" follows Ludis Varishikov, a boy who felt like life had forsaken him since the beginning. A messy divorce between his parents left his mother devoid of life or care, forcing young Ludis to find new ways of supporting them. One fated day, he meets Jon. The two kids are so different yet find themselves understanding each other more than anybody else. They become inseparable for years, one thing leading to another, and eventually a fatal incident brings the end of their innocent friendship. Now they're in high school, and the two are forced to meet again. It's awkward and strange, but their relationship quickly feels like nothing changed at all.... Press X to Interact, or PXI, plays on character stereotypes and story cliches with a dark/comedic twist. It has everything! Teenage substance-abusing, sexual content, queerness, blood, gore, timeloops, and more!
PXI: Press X to Interact is a planned to develop video game! As of right now, only comics are being created which is what you will be voice-acting.
This project is completely for fun as of now, we want voice actors who can be flexible with things because the comics have unexpected upload dates and come out whenever!
We are not paying anybody as of now!
WARNING - You will have to scream, yell, curse, and voice sensitive subjects! This series contains a lot of topics, more mature if anything, if you cannot handle mature and sensitive topics (in both a joking and serious manner), then it is advised you shouldn't sign up.
We will need a way to contact you whether that'd be Discord or Instagram! Please leave either or both in your audition description!
More roles can be released if needed!

Ludis is the protagonist in PXI. He is monotone and aloof but gets worked up quite easily, making him unpredictable and even destructive at times. He has a "no bullshit" attitude and little patience with many things, so you'd usually find him sporting an annoyed/bored tone. Though, he does have a playful side. Ludis bears a lot of troubles hiding under the surface, many of them being the main focus of the storyline.

Jon is the deuteragonist of PXI. He's kind, optimistic, and honest to a fault. Jon always tries to see the bright side of things even if the awful truth is glaring in his face, making him look quite gullible and naive to other people. He's more aware than people think but puts on a cheery front.
The carefree attitude he presents can make him seem mysterious and almost unsettling at times.

Alise is a side character in PXI. She's another character with a "no bullshit" attitude, but her's stems from mainly irritation, not insecurity. She's observant, insightful, and her words can definitely cut deep. But when the time calls for it, she's genuine and easygoing. Her unapproachable persona isn't there for no reason, the people around her are pretty annoying.

Dante is one of the side characters in PXI. He's obnoxious and crass, known as the "designated party guy" to most. (Meaning, everyone just goes to his house whenever they host a party.) Despite how wild and downright corny he is, he knows when to stop. The Dante underneath all the gaudy clothes and vulgar language is surprisingly normal. He cherishes the people he's closest with and can be quite personable if he chooses to be.
Dante is also a closeted homosexual.

Abi is the stereotypical nice girl. Truly the model of perfection, she's soft, nice, and speaks quite gently. You can always spot her trying to break up fights between her friends and terrified outsiders. All of that is a lie though, she's pretty terrible. Behind the delicate exterior, she's very quick to anger when people act up. Many of her "kind words" are just veiled insults, and she's aware of that. Compared to her friends, she's surprisingly always the one in charge.

(For context, the SWAP AU is basically where Ludis and Jon's upbringings/circumstances are swapped, so in turn their characters and entire personalities are switched around. Made purely for fun and out of boredom but comics will be made about them too for sure.) SwapLudis always appears to be perfect. Never a single hair out of place. He's very charismatic and says things only to boost other people's opinions of him. Underneath the big eyes and practiced smiles, he hides something truly sinister. His voice would be a bit higher pitched than Ludis normally, effeminate in a way.
