Hello! We’re FunBunn Studios, and we're currently bringing our passion project to life: Remnants of The Puppeteer—a dark, emotional podcast.
The story follows Otto, an aging puppeteer, whose soul is fragmented upon his death, with each piece inhabiting one of his puppets—representations of Otto and those closest to him. As these puppets come to life, they embark on their own tragic, yet poignant journeys, exploring the room and discovering themselves. But one by one, they meet heartbreaking ends, filled with intense emotions (expect plenty of screaming and crying). The series blends dark, sad moments with flashes of light, slowly unraveling the mysterious secrets of Otto’s past.
What we expect from voice actors:
decent microphone quality (preferably no background noise)
age: 15+ (you won't be considered if you're under the age of 15)
passion and great vibes
auditions preferably in Mp3 format
you don't have to have any experience but it is appreciated
basic singing skills (doesn't have to be the best of the best, there will be songs)

Hi, everyone, we're very happy to see the auditions coming in. We try to go through the auditions as soon as they're submitted and we've shortlisted quite a few talented actors so far, though we will still wait for the end of the deadline to do the casting of the voice actors. For the technical roles (writers, audio eng. etc.) we might cast before the end of the deadline, since the roles are not limited to only one person.
Also there's no limit to auditions per person. You can audition for multiple roles at once if you feel like it.

Charlotte is a puppet representing a young girl (could be about 16 years old). She represents Otto's unborn daughter who died with her mother in a terrible house fire accidentally caused by Otto himself. Singing ability is highly appreciated (you can put an example in your audition).
Personality: joyful, energetic, empathetic

Violette is a puppet representing a young woman (could be about 22 years old). She represents Otto's daughter who left him for her husband causing Otto to end up abandoned and alone. Singing ability is highly appreciated (you can put an example in your audition).
Personality: mean, egocentric, nosy
Is she blind? She would probably think that even the air is alive.

Personality: joyful, energetic, reckless, stubborn

Cameron is a puppet representing a slightly elderly man (could be about 50 years old). He represents Otto's hope to reconnect with his daughters and fill the hole in his heart. Singing ability is highly appreciated (you can put an example in your audition).
Personality: wise, grumpy, calm, uninterested
I'll be blunt and honest, what do I know? You can call me Cameron for all I care... N-No, wait, preferably don’t call me at all.
Well, what are we waiting for folks? Let us get there then! Let's see… Anton, carry Gustav over there, will you?
[beneath his breath]: Of course you are.
Anton is a puppet representing a young man (could be about 25 years old). He represents the husbands that took away Otto's daughters. Singing ability is highly appreciated (you can put an example in your audition).
Personality: egocentric, insecure (tries to hide it)
[Under his breath] Insolent buffoon… So be it. Well, does anyone know each other at all? We should introduce ourselves, I say so! [Overconfident, as if trying to prove a point to everyone] I am… uuummmm, Anton!!! Call ME Anton!
[annoyed] Alright you two chopsticks, shut it already. It's just an avian for goodness sake!

Gustav is a puppet representing a young boy/man (age not specified). He represents the struggling part of society and Otto's illness as he was getting older. Singing ability is highly appreciated (you can put an example in your audition).
Personality: quiet, empathetic, shy

Esther is Otto's wife who died in a tragic fire caused by Otto's lamp. She is around 30 - 35 years old and a mother of two. Her role is mostly singing (singing experience is highly appreciated).
