Project Overview

Souls-bourne inspired Knight VO Redesign

This is a very small project which will only consist of a few lines of dialogue from the perspective of a prestigious Knight called Atreus of Feyd, who resides in a dark fantasy land which is heavily inspired by FromSoftware's Souls-Bourne game series'.

The voice lines are written by myself, but feel free to tweak or add any flourishes to the voice lines if you so wish during your recording however you may deem to best fit your performance.

Project Premise

This project is for me as an aspiring Audio Designer/ VO Designer for video games in order to give me experience in casting VO actors, editing recordings and adding post production effects to the recordings. This gig is unpaid, but I will fully credit you on my audio design portfolio showreel.

Hello!

I am currently a Lead QA at Ubisoft Leamington having worked in the games industry for the past 8 years, previously worked at Creative Assembly on Total War: Three Kingdoms, Warhammer 2 and Halo Wars 2.

My passion has always been audio and I now want to make the next step in becoming a professional audio designer for video games, and in recent years I have discovered a real passion for dialogue and the human voice.

When I worked at Creative Assembly I was lucky enough to be Audio QA on Total War: Three Kingdoms and later the now cancelled HYENAS, and in my time on those projects I got to work very closely with very talented Dialogue Engineers and Sound Designers and helped test the dialogue lines and systems in those games.

I have joined Casting Call Club in order to potentially work with some amazing voice acting talent in order to help build up my skills and portfolio as a Dialogue Designer.

Hello!

Apologies for my rather late update to this project, life stuff kinda got in the way.

All submissions are now closed and I have chosen my voice actor, but I want to thank everyone for their submissions. It wasn't an easy choice to choose the right one, there were so many good submissions!

I will try and give feedback to each one of you over the next few days, so please be patient.

This is an unpaid voice role of which I will use the recordings as VO design practice for my audio design portfolio.

Voice lines are to be read in a male voice. Posh British voice preferred but not essential.

A proud and prestigious knight called Atreus of Feyd offers a cautious yet welcoming introduction to our main character, who has ventured down into a mysterious dark and stygian dungeon in a dark fantasy land.

Atreus of Feyd is a character of my own creation, but who resides within a dark fantasy world which is similar to the Dark Souls, Demon's Souls or Elden Ring series of video games. Ostrava of Boletaria being a huge inspiration for this character.
