Project Overview

Project Vocaloid is a 3D animated fan series that is animated using MMD.
I had already started this series, but the website I was uploading it on updated recently and I can no longer put it there. I also couldn't take audio from the website, so I have to start all over. I have decided to start with a new and improved script that both I like better and the voice actors like better.
The roles you see here are the ones that are either added to the new script or the ones I need to recast because I couldn't get in contact with the original voices.
If you audition, it is preferred that you have Discord so that I can easily contact you and that you can talk to the other voice actors.

Plot of the series: Kiyoteru Hiyama is an intelligent inventor. He manages to create robots who can simulate humans and plans to make them into famous singers. However, he doesn’t have the funds to even keep his robots running, so he gives up his dream. When he meets millionaire Dell Honne, he finally has hope for his vision to become reality. Kiyoteru and Dell work together to create a group of robots known as Vocaloids. Everything seems to be going smoothly, but Dell seems to have a plan of his own...

  • Official Casting

    I will be casting all of the roles on Sunday, February 17 with the help of some of the voice actors I already have. This gives all of today and tomorrow for anyone else who wants to audition to submit their auditions. Yes, the deadline was originally much later, but that's because I wasn't expecting to get many auditions at all! Now that I've noticed I'm getting a lot of talent, I decided the sooner the better because I'd like to get this series started. If your audition gets rejected, it does not mean you weren't good. It just means it wasn't the right fit. There are actually a few of you that I've looked at that could possible fit other potential roles in the future! Thank you all for auditioning and being patient! I will accept more auditions today and tomorrow and then cast everything on Sunday.

While I could probably handle a lot of the animating on my own, the animation process will go extremely slow in that case. A team of animators will allow me to distribute the work and take some stress off of myself as well as make the series update faster.

You are REQUIRED to use MMD (Miku Miku Dance) as that is the program I use and the program all of the models are compatible with. 

To apply for this position, send in at least three of your animation works done in MMD.

Voice: I need a male voice that can sound both serious/antagonistic and smug at times. Just do whatever you feel fits.
Personality: envious, cynical, sarcastic, stressed, can't seem to act serious at times (but it seems to be an act)

The actor I have for Kaito is not comfortable with singing (which is fine!) but I want Kaito to sing in this series.

Yohioloid is a very important character in this series. He owns a music school and helps the vocaloids learn songs.

Age: ?? (His official age is 17, but in this series he will likely be a young adult)
Voice: A male voice that can sound harsh at times, but can also sound friendly at certain times. Must be able to yell.
Personality: Seems harsh, but is really just stressed out from lots of work. Friendly when you get to know him.

  • "Listen, if you don't have business here, then get out. I don't have time for window shoppers, do you understand me?!"

  • "Oh my gosh. I am so sorry. I yell a lot when I'm stressed. If you need to sign up for a class, just let me know."

  • (OPTIONAL, BUT PREFERRED: sing a short sample. Yohioloid won't sing A LOT, but he will sing a bit, so I want to know at least a little bit of what your voice sounds like. I can also alter the script if you are uncomfortable with singing to where he has assistants who teach the songs.)
