Sci-fi Comic (Prospective Casting)
Project Overview
Genre: Grounded Science Fiction, Character Drama, Mystery, Exploration
Rather than focusing on distant heroes or larger-than-life figures, SOR follows (mostly) ordinary people navigating an extraordinary future: engineers, explorers, workers, and operators trying to survive in an environment where decisions are difficult.
The series is set to explore themes of ambition, survival, responsibility, curiosity, and the compromises people make when there are no perfect choices.
Multiple interpretations are absolutely encouraged. We are looking for the most natural fit over matching a specific voice.
This comic is the first entry in a new science fiction project with potential to be adapted into a game or series.

So we've found the most creative way to get stranded?
Ruben, I'm sure you understand what happens next. They're looking for someone to blame - if we spend a moment longer, I can tell you exactly who that is going to be.
(clear throat) yeah, well...(humorous tone) statistics also say something about stones from a glass house, but that's neither here nor there, right? Just get it done. Good luck.
Marne is disarmingly honest, confident, and a bit pushy.

What? Ask the "machines guy" what he thinks about the RLC's new transport? You're practically killing me. All' you people kill me, man.
Uh huh, shoo. go! tell me later.
This is the guy who says "crimp my style" instead of "cramp my style" ok? (staccato, annoyed smile, humor) It - is - NOT - Crimp!
Niobe can be unintentionally demeaning but never inhuman, just distracted.

I know the numbers. Doesn't mean I want them to be the last thing I remember.
These are precisely the ones Niles tried to keep from me. I won't ask you how they're here now.
Two very different questions. (pleased) Are you testing me?
Ruben: king of understatement and stoicism. A technical veteran who has supposedly seen the "worst".

She says I'm too "negative". Like, someone hands me a broken H2G and asks if I have any good news. Those are my cards, Niobe.
Makes you wish we get vacations?(chuckle to self) We're supposed to anyway.
Statistically, people who talk while I'm trying to work get hit by objects at high velocity.
