Project Sekai Fan Project: Project Medley Tsukasa and Rui Auditions

**Deadline to submit is July 30th but casting may happen sooner!**
Project Medley is a fan-inspired series based on the mobile rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Project Sekai (known as “Colorful Stage” on World Wide servers.) PM will follow 5 different musical groups of 4, each with their own genres and styles. More details about each group and its members will be provided below. The story will be loosely based around the main and event stories from Project Sekai, but will exclude “Sekai”s and “Vocaloid”s and will follow the shuffled groups from the game’s 2022 April Fool’s event*. Prior knowledge about Project Sekai is NOT required as only its original characters and covered discography** with some occasional references. Any stories will either be completely original, based around a plot point/event***, or a mixture of both. This project is looking for voice actors who are able to sing. All songs will be in English (or translated into English). Every character audition will require you to submit different voice lines for each character, ***as well as samples of your singing!***
*The musical groups in this project are not the original groups from the game, but rather groups with members shuffled around (Example: In the source material, Character A is a member of Group 1, but in this project they are a member of Group 2)
**excluding Project Sekai’s original event songs; only pre-existing songs that are playable in the game will be covered in English (if you do not know anything about Project Sekai, you can most likely ignore this information)
***A story’s concept from the game may be rewritten for this project (Example: In the source material, there may be an event about going to the beach; in this project, that concept may be adapted through a different story, with different characters, etc.)
Groups
Aoharu/friends: A girl rock band, an amature group of musicians each with the goal to enjoy their high school life to the fullest
Yume Yume JUMP!: A girl idol group, three amature idols from different musical backgrounds lead by one popular and experienced idol
Fantasista SQUAD: Street performers, a group consisting of a unique theatrical duo and a competitive hip-hop duo
Sunny Sunny Wonder: An after-school drama troupe, an amusement park performance group wanting to put on shows that make everyone smile genuinely
Hobbyists, on holiday.: An internet music group, formed on the website “Nightcord” as a safe space for its members to talk about what they love without judgment

Group: Fantasista SQUAD (Leader)
Tsukasa is a very loud and eccentric individual who knows he was destined for the stage. He is a self-proclaimed “World Future Star” and is often seen as narcissistic. His dream does have humble beginnings, however, as he started doing shows as a child to make his chronically ill sister smile. Despite being full of himself, he is very reliable and will often go above and beyond to help others, even if it’s just improvisation.
The musical I've been waiting to see finally opens today! I can't believe how hard it was just to get a ticket! If I'm going to read through the pamphlet before the show starts, I'll need to hightail it to the theater as soon as school gets out!
I guess that's what happens when you've got one of the largest intersections in the world. There's always tourists taking pictures here all the time. Hm? What's this? Why are you holding out your camera? Oh, I get it! You want to take a photo with me! Sure, of course! With my coolest pose, I'll ensure this is the best memory of your entire trip!
What's this? Vichyssoise, carpaccio, ginger pork... This cafe is serving full course meals for lunch! I'm assuming ginger pork is just pork fried with ginger, but I have no idea what the others are! They sound impressive, though, so I'm sure they're all delicious!
Group: Fantasista SQUAD
In short, Rui is a genius. He is very skilled in robotics and uses them as special effects in his theatrical performances. His true love is directing and views the whole world as his stage. He often has eccentric ideas when it comes to his directing, mostly involving stunts, that were too out there for his peers to comprehend. This caused him to be rejected by his classmates. Rui closed himself off and decided that he was better off doing things on his own. Deep down, he longed to find a group where he was accepted as is, and has started to find that in his friendship with Tsukasa who is willing to hear out his ideas.
Why is it that every single show on tv about eating healthy tells you to eat vegetables? If you ask me, they all taste like they should be bad for your health.
Such great weather today. Barely any wind either, so the drones won't have any problems. These conditions are perfect for a street performance. Hehe. I've been dying to try out my new show. Time to get set up.
Buy three or more items and receive a free balloon animal? That's a great idea for the kids, but these animals don't look very well made. I don't see the shopkeeper anywhere. Let me just… There. A balloon Stegosaurus. Hehe. Whichever lucky kid gets that is sure to be pleased. I bet it'll give the shopkeeper a bit of a surprise, too.
