Project Coccinellidae (Miraculous Ladybug)
Project Overview
We're Stardust Officinale, a group of various artists working on an 11-episode series based on a popular children's series. Project Coccinellidae is the working title of this project, the true name to be revealed soon. However, we can't do this alone! So we're looking for help. If you can write, draw, animate, edit, make music, or voice act, we'd love to have you on! If you're accepted, we'll invite you onto our Discord server where we'll give you access to our Google Drive and your respective roles and you'll be able to meet our production managers: our script director LoreQueenA, our art director Glitch Shift, our animation director Hooded Raire, our VA director My Alternation, and our social media manager Static Flare.
As this project is not a job, we don't expect anyone to spend 100% of their time on Project Coccinellidae. However, we do ask that if you choose to pop in, you commit to it with the general availability you give us (this can be updated at any time). You are required to have a Discord account for proper communication with your Project Leader. You will be asked to follow guidelines for sharing your work on Project Coccinellidae and your work will become susceptible to use, change, and exclusion from the series, regardless of your membership status. We understand that this project will take some time so we will most likely have team members come and go, which is why we made this decision. We want to make sure everyone's properly credited, even if they've left long ago.
Our writers are in charge of setting the stage, giving us the blueprints and guides for the rest of the team to build on top of.
Our artists are in charge of building our world; our background artists, colorists, and character designers create the base for the story to be told.
Our animators are in charge of bringing to life the story our writers create; thumbnail artists are the foundation with animatic artists creating most of the content for Project Coccinellidae. Animators and clean-up animators work on "special" scenes to really drive home the emotion.
Our editors are in charge of pulling everything together; animatic editors bring together the visuals and sound editors make sure the dialogue, music, and noises match.
Our voice actors are in charge of bringing the story to your ears; scratch VAs provide temporary takes for thumbnail artists and animatic editors while VAs provide final takes for the final cut.
Our music composers are in charge of setting the tone for the story, whether it's totally original or a remix of something else.
Finally, our wonderful marketing team is in charge of spreading the word of Project Coccinellidae. This project is a machine that can only work well when have all of the right parts and we greatly appreciate everyone who will ever join us!

Roughly 47-year-old French man and son of the late villain formerly terrorizing the city. Distraught by the horrors committed by his father, he wants nothing more than to settle down with a calm life and be a better father than his own. Very much still a child at heart, he spends his time doting on his children, no matter their ages. When he's not fighting crime with his wife, he's letting the kids give him a makeover. While his wife's patience with the children has dwindled over time, his has only grown alongside his love for them. He's still a bit naive and can be sassy but he's putting his children and kindness first. Father to the three lead characters. Headcanon voice: Todd Haberkorn

"Don't worry about your mom, kids. She can be a little...stubborn sometimes...heh." attempting (and failing) to reassure his kids
"Does my lady need a hug?" comforting his wife
"Emma, where are you going? Emma?! EMMA!" worried, calling for child, about to give chase
Roughly 47-year-old Japanese woman. Though she's learned to express herself more, she's still got traits that he mother instilled in her as a child. She's always encouraging those around her to be honest and straightforward, with the strictness in her tone as a child still present but restrained, most obvious when speaking to her fencing students. Her relationship with loving spouse is the epitome of 'opposites attract'. After meeting, he taught her to slow down and enjoy the present and she taught him to grow excited for what's to come and make the most of life. She's grown into a happy, fun-loving woman who's excited to see what life has to offer.

"Your daughter ran away?!" on phone with friend, shocked
"Wow, this is the most fun I've had in a very long time!" genuinely happy but still in her sort of monotonous voice
"Ha ha. You always manage to make me happy." sarcastic, but genuinely loving
A mysterious creature with an intimidating presence and manner of speaking. It's clear he's in control of the situations he finds himself in and as a result, he is almost always relaxed and calm. Think Silco from Arcane. His voice is quite neutral with the only emotions able to be discerned from his words being slight confusion/questioning and hints of kindness at times (he doesn't completely understand human emotions). Light Italian accent preferred but not required. This creature also makes monstrous/animalistic sounds such as growls, hisses, and grunts. With the audition lines, please insert any of those sounds where you feel they make sense.
Ideally should be able to imitate ONE of the following: Jason Spisak as Silco (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSUd--JuJP8&t=44s), Steven Ogg as Professor Venomous (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1BWtDnyTxQ), Daman Mills as Blade (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQeTZ4_77PA), Lawrence Fishburn as Thrax (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_0U4bhe6ag), Daran Norris as Knockout (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sL-gyZJ6gg), OR Keston John as Hordak/Horde Prime (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eJKDBfRCCk has both, with Horde Prime being slightly higher-pitched than Hordak)

"Are you lost, little one?" quiet, calculating, confused
"Found you...I finally found you..." subtle tinges of anger and excitement
"Don't worry. You'll be dead soon." almost entirely monotonous save for a hint of kindness
