PROJECT ASCENSION // ASCEND 2017

This project is an original story involving original characters, events, and organizations. Of course, nothing is entirely original and is merely just a new creation, inspired from several sources and experiences seen and felt by the creator throughout their lifetime. This project began as nothing more than an idea in my sketchbook during my Senior year of highschool. Since then, it has grown into a story spanning from 1936 to 2010. Of course, everything that I've written down up until now consists only of an overall outline and structure for the timeline of this story. Several primary characters have already been established with broad ideas for secondary characters behind each character.

In order to make this plan, this idea grow into a full fledged form of media, I need assistance and that's where you come in.

This story will be published in the format of a Picture Drama, or a Motion Comic. However, the difference here will be that everything will have to be made first. I'm an artist myself and I have already created several sketches for several characters with more to come.

By the time Chapter 01 is finished and a script version of the story is completed, we will begin the Recording Phase to get the lines. You may be wondering why I'm not doing that right now. The reason why is because this project has a lot of terminology involved and I'd prefer to have a crew and cast consisting of people who are legitimately interested in the story, the project, and it's future. Of course, nobody is expected to stick around for the whole run, however long it may or may not be.

So if you've read this far you may be wondering: 

WHAT THE HELL IS THE STORY ABOUT? WHAT MAKES THIS WORTH MY TIME?

Well this project is in the SUPERHERO genre. Technically. Basically it's my own original world filled with superheroes and villains, such as what you'd see in Marvel and DC. Of course, I didn't want it to be too close to either, as I love both brands and would prefer not to steal anything from them. So, I made ASCEND. In it are several people with superpowers and abilities. Yet, there is a history behind how these people get their abilities, why they can do what others can't and how the world reacts to these revelations.

Well it'd be extremely difficult to condense every bit of detail on here, which is why I'll give you what I can without giving too much away. If you, after reading this synopsis are truly interested in learning more about this project, then be sure to "AUDITION" and add me on Skype.

SYNOPSIS

The world has turned a page in history. The 21st Century is now upon us. A new age for mankind filled with technological advancements. Yet, despite having reached the New Millenium, the world is still plagued by war. Even worse, the Stones of the Sky continue to fall. Perseids 04 has arrived, bringing with it more crystals of power. ARES has initiated the ACES + Program, the second generation of superhuman soldiers. This was done in order to eliminate ex-Agent Bones and dismantle the Private Security Force "The Skulls", 

However, with the secrets of the Aurora Crystals now in the hands of several parties, the hunt for the crystals has become more and more difficult. The innocent have become involved and civilians are ASCENDING. With the number of enhanced individuals increasing, the powers in the shadows can't help, but wonder. Has the Dawn of a New Man finally arrived?

The Northern Lights shine over those chosen. The pieces are set in place, and the NEXUS is born. What was once believed impossible yet legendary, has now become a horrid reality.
