"Probably Pokespe" - Pokemon Adventures Abridged!
Project Overview
"Probably Pokespe" Is a parody of the original Pokémon Adventures/Pokémon Special Manga that was created by the user "shaunathan" on the Pokémon Adventures Amino. In the creators own words, he "gave Pokespe the Ghost Stories treatment." Now, you may be wondering, what exactly does that mean? Well, the English Dub of Ghost stories retains the basic plot structure and storyline, but alters much of the dialogue into comedy. It's basically the same here! Trainers battle using memes, Professor Oak is a communist, Green was tutored by Oak and is apparently a furry, and much more!
I did, of course, ask shaunathan for permission and get it before posting this Casting Call. This series will be posted on my YouTube Channel, "ScalphaDubs", and all the voice actors and actresses will, of course, be credited! After receiving the script, you will be asked to provide the lines within a week to two.
Requirements:
-This isn't really a requirement, but if you have Discord, that would be a great help. If you don't, then that's fine! We'll just take care of it via CCC.
-I recommend watching a couple scenes of the English dub of "Ghost Stories" and trying to imitate how they talk, from tone to acting, etc.
-Yet again, not really a requirement at all, but having read the original Pokémon Manga before auditioning (or after auditioning!) might be an advantage.
-Be prepared for deadlines, because there most certainly are going to be some! You should have about a week or two until you will have to submit the lines.

Green is one of the main characters. He should have a lowish voice and his line delivery should be more serious than the rest of the cast.

(Snarky) Oh, and one more thing. I'm vegan. Hehehe.
A communist, literal Stalin, Green's tutor. Should sound like Stalin (A mixture of chain-smoker and, well, a Russian accent).
(Enraged) Idiot! They weren't fully indoctrinated! Now they'll start getting "ideas" about how communism "doesn't work"!
(Shocked) How... How did you win using an outdated meme?
(Serious, maybe with a hint of sarcasm) You may have a swirly boi *and* a traitor in your arsenal now... but that won't be enough to defeat the furries.
A minor side character only appearing on the first couple pages of the first issue. Honestly, considering the fact that this is a parody, both a guy and a girl could go for this role! Just make sure ya got a high voice.
(Oblivious) It's a poisonous monster twice my size, what could go wrong?
(Energetic) I have the power of God and Anime on my side! AAAAAAAAAAA!
(Disappointed) The power of God and Anime failed...?
