Pretty Cure 15th --- HUGtto! Future✩Dreamer fandub

Happy 15th anniversary Pretty Cure!

With the airing of HUGtto! Pretty Cure, set to end in January 2019, the franchise is celebrating its 15th year, and it is still going strong with a growing fanbase! Of course, that includes myself, and a love of Pretty Cure has helped spark my interest in celebrating in my own style...

Cue the creation of the HUGtto Future Dreamer ~15th Ver.~ fandub project.

Inspired by the Pretty Cure Memory cover performed by the lead/pink Cures in New Stage 3, the fandub will include every lead Cure that has existed since the very beginning, from Cure Black to Cure Yell, and several others, all copies of lead Cures, as well:

-Dark Dream --- From the Yes! Pretty Cure 5 movie; a lot of people hold her as a Pretty Cure All Star, despite being killed off and not really counting as a real Cure. For this reason alone, I’ve included her in the project.

-Cure Blossom Mirage --- From episodes 37 and 38 of Heartcatch Pretty Cure!; I somewhat debated with myself over whether I should include her as part of the project since she’s technically just a part of Cure Blossom herself, but again, fan interest has lead me to place her in~!

-Bad End Happy --- From episode 46 of Smile Pretty Cure!; a similar concept to Dark Dream, yet the only truly evil “Cure” that is part of this. Again, fan interest, as well as just being an evil copy of Cure Happy, gave her an advantage, and was one of the first ones I worked with when color coding the lyrics.

Before auditioning, yes, I did self-cast as Cure Bloom, based on a select group’s thoughts on my own vocal potential, and I figured that it would make it slightly easier to cast all of the Cures.

• As for auditioning, I do want to warn in advance that because of the magical girl aspect of the franchise, this would work best as an all-girls fandub, unless the magic of Audacity or other voice editing programs can turn a male voice into a female (which I’ve seen happen before, don’t get me wrong)... So if you are a male, you should definitely provide a higher pitched sample of the audition lines!
• When you audition, if you would prefer to be called by a name that is not what you registered with on Casting Call Club (as is with me), don’t be afraid to say so at the beginning of the recording!
• Be wary of the quality of your mic and headset!! Fuzzy mics are frowned upon, and background audio can sometimes be detected even after mixing. If the fuzziness is minor and fixable via editing, still audition and see if something can be done. If you are unsure what constitutes as usable or not, message me here.
• For each of the Cures, I have provided a sample of their original voice from one of their character songs (all are on YouTube), except for the three copy Cures that were mentioned earlier; for more information on these three, see the character information below.
• Finally, you can use either your natural voice or voice act the singing role to sound like a specific character. So, if you naturally match Cure Melody, for instance, go ahead and audition for her! Then, if you can make yourself sound like someone else, say Cure Yell, you are more than welcome to go for others! Unless I am low on auditions, I will try to cast as many unique people as possible, but please do not be afraid to try other voice types.

If you do not want to audition for a vocal role, that’s fine too! I’m also looking for an artist(s), mixer(s), and video editor(s) since this would be too much for me to handle. For these roles, I recommend that you provide me with samples of your talent, and I can decide who to pick from there. (NOT OPEN RIGHT NOW)

As for payment, I’m not interested in paying when we are just fandubbing because of our passion towards Pretty Cure (and I don’t even have a Paypal anyways!)

Due dates are going to depend on both the circumstances and the continued airing of HUGtto! Pretty Cure. I’m aiming to release the finished project in January 2019 near the end of the aforementioned season, and before the 2019 Pretty Cure premieres. If we finish this project before then, I might release it a bit earlier, so stay tuned for updates on that, regardless if you are cast as singer or staff~

The deadline for auditions may also change depending on circumstances, and if needed, I can open later casting calls.
