PMD: Explorer's Voiced! (3rd Call)
Project Overview
We are in need of a few more artists and company for our Pokémon Mystery Dungeon voice acting project! We are also recasting one voice and as well as anyone wanting to lend their creative expertise to this project.
We are independent creators working together to create a definitive retelling of the PMD story, completed with unique animations, character voicing, and other media such as art. We want to make the story available to everyone, and to present it in an accurate and entertaining way, while still keeping its original charm.
For our voice acting submissions, please give us the raw unedited take. We prefer your take to be in mono as well as in the ABCABC format. Any background removal will be fine but let us reiterate, any other effects or filters will not be considered.
For our artists, we will have our dedicated art director look over your portfolios and make a final decision on what our art team will look like. We would love to see a link to your portfolio and PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO ADD YOUR DISCORD USERNAME.
ANY SUBMISSION WITH A DISCORD SERVER LINK WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
VOICE SUBMISSIONS WITH A DEMO REEL WILL ALSO NOT BE CONSIDERED.
MAKE SURE TO SET YOUR AUDITION POST AS ‘PUBLIC’, SO IT IS NOT MISSED WHEN WE REVIEW.
None of this work will be paid (legal reasons, cause it’s Pokémon), but donations might be a possibility in the future.

Voice Actor
Ever an enthusiast, Toto dreams of going on adventures and solving puzzles. He is secretly afraid but tries to cover that by talking. He is a talker, and he tends to blabber on and on. He is also very friendly and naturally trusting, and also simple and supportive of doing the right thing. A lot of his thinking he does by speaking it out loud. He is balanced somewhat by his new best friend, Hoshi the Shinx (hero).
Instructions: Toto has a gravelly but friendly voice. It is not low, and should be comparable to his line from the initial casting call video - https://youtu.be/ICcX-tpgyRI?t=48
(feel free to experiment or do a different voice than we expected for him— if it’s good enough, you may just get the part!)
