Personified Epcot Pavilions Ask Blog
Project Overview
NOTE: This project is kind of in limbo. Since auditions are so slow, I'll keep pushing the deadline forward. Hopefully someday we can get this up and running!

The premise is simple: human-like versions of the Walt Disney World Epcot pavilions for this blog. It's not very active at the moment, but we don't need asks to make recordings: there's always small skits and introduction speeches!
In this universe, Spaceship Earth and company are not their buildings, but their life force is tied to them, which is why Horizons's tragic death occurred the moment the ride building became a pile of rubble. When the building is closed for an extended period of time, the pavilion character is just asleep.

Anyway, I'll start off with just a few pavilions to see if there's interest, and if there is, I'll add more.

Spaceship Earth is the self proclaimed leader of the Future World pavilions. As the park icon whose house has appeared in countless promotional materials, Earth's gained a bit of an inflated ego over the years, but that doesn't mean he isn't friendly. Through all his attempts to grab the spotlight, he has the best interests of the park at heart, and his communication skills have helped him resolve plenty of disputes.
That was a great first day, everyone! Now that the park's closed, it's time to get acquainted. To start, my name is Spaceship Earth.
It's not a golf ball; it's a GEODESIC SPHERE.

Formerly Communicore East.
As different halves of the same attraction, the Innoventions twins share an unbreakable bond. They're cooperating on inventions, video games, and minor pranks, and unless they're in their respective houses, they're very rarely seen apart. Still, they're two separate people, and it's important to know how to tell them apart. (East is the quiet one with the "frontways" C on her outfit, and West is the more talkative one with the "backways" C.)
Feel free to look around; there's plenty of technology to share.
"Kids"? We're as old as the park itself.

Her film, Impressions de France, is one of the few Epcot attractions that hasn't changed since opening day. But France herself is full of surprises. Sometimes she's preparing delicious pastries, sometimes she's dancing with street performers, and sometimes she's exploring the rest of Epcot as her park guest persona Angelique Dupont. Both Angelique and France have charmed a few guests over the years, but the flings have never been serious.

I have been doing the same thing for so many years! Can you blame me for bending the rules just a little.

American Adventure (also known as the U.S.A. pavilion), acts like she was born in the 18th century and moved here when she was around 14, after a stop in the 1980's along the way. Since her house is the centerpiece of World Showcase, she acts as leader of its set of pavilions, and she can sometimes be found delivering speeches of freedom and equality to the other ten.
When she's not with other pavilions, you might see her with her personal friends Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain, or at least the versions of them that host her show. But despite the old-fashioned nature she shares with these two, she's surprisingly fond of rock music.

My fellow pavilions, though not all of us have boat rides or Audio-Animatronic performers, we are all created equal!

Formerly World of Motion.
After being asleep for longer than expected in the late 90's, Test Track came back practically unrecognizable. Once a calm mechanic with an interest in all types of transportation, he transformed into a speed demon who would gladly be a car company's test dummy for the thrill of it. With this bravery came impatience, however, and he probably wouldn't be willing to wait on his own lines.
I don't know about you, but I'm feelin' a need for speed!
So even with a FastPass, you still have to WAIT?
I'm not the old Test Track anymore. Now I've gone digital!

(Technically Horizons is a guy, but I've had it as female here for so long that I didn't want to dash people's, well, dreams. So I have them as male/female.)
If we can dream it, then we can do it!
Oh, that doesn't bother me. If anything, I'm glad they made good use of the space. No pun intended.
Has it really been sixteen years? Sometimes I still forget it's the twenty-first century!
