Project Overview
What is Persona Voiceovers?
Persona.Voiceovers is an account on Instagram that voices over memes and skits from the Persona series! This project is a group of VAs who are fans of the Persona franchise, who do voiceovers and skits of many different types (memes, skits, dubs, and more).
For those of you unfamiliar with the series: the Persona series is a JRPG franchise that follows different characters and events in each installment. The franchise focuses on two different aspects of each of game, the classic dungeon crawling you expect from a JRPG, and the slice of life side where your main focus is to live a normal life of a high school student (Which includes hanging out with friends, going to high school, studying, and other crazy high school shenanigans).
Now for clarification, this project is for fun, that mainly means that you will be no payment for anyone involved. If you're fine with that and just wanna do a fun voice acting project then you're more than welcomed to audition! We have a variety of different characters that are available to audition for, but keep in mind a majority of the fan favorites have already have been casted.

Requirements:If you plan on auditioning, this is what I expect from you: A microphone that can record high-quality audio, auditions need to be 30 to 60 seconds long, DO NOT artificially extent the length of an audition with either silence or audio editing. Please speak loudly and clearly into the microphone when you go to record. If it helps try speaking slowly as well. If we cast you, we need you to be good with deadlines and communication. You also need to be at least 16 years old. If you don't think that you can manage these requirements, we please asked that you don't waste you're time auditioning for us.
A few final notes:1.) We are huge fans of this franchise, as such we may be submitting our own auditions alongside all who wish to participate- I DO NOT EXPECT YOU TO TRY AND IMITATE OUR PERFORMANCES. Each role will have the suggested guidance and ideal performance parameters I have in mind for each character, but the beauty of acting is taking the same premise or direction and presenting it with your own unique flair.
2.) Discord is required, it is required as we utilize it to organize group rehearsals, deliver announcements, and distribute scripts (it's also been an incredibly useful tool for getting to know the people affiliated with the project and we've had a fair bit of fun with it).
3.) We also require the use of Google Drive, it is required as we utilize it to organize files, such as scripts, voice clips, and many other important things that we use, to keep track of the work we did/didn't do.
4.) You are free to slate your name in your audition. Your audition should and must be 30 to 60 seconds long minimum. If you feel that the length of your audition should be NATURALLY longer than those parameters, you're free to do so, in fact we encourage it. DO NOT ARTIFICALLY INFLATE THE LEGNTH OF YOUR AUDITION.
And that's it- if more questions come up I recommended that you contact me on discord: Vergil#8584
When you are logged in, you can comment, add submissions, create projects, upvote, search open roles, and way more. Login here.
Akane is a huge fan of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, and her room has Phantom Thieves products all over it, many of them which she made herself. She's also a live streamer and is capable of disguising her voice in a manner that resembles Joker's manner of speech while acting as a Phantom Thief.

Within the public, Alice has the image of a cute and charismatic idol that can mesmerize all of Shibuya (Whom she actually mesmerized with EMMA's supernatural functions) thanks to her brilliant fashion design, and acts so in public. She is also said to be quite attractive, according to Ryuji and Ann, causing the latter to wonder why she had to mesmerize people in Shibuya with EMMA in the first place.
Behind the scenes reveal a completely different person, as she will simply snap and psychopathically bully any man she knows to be in a stable relationship by changing their hearts so they break up their marriage and go for her instead. If anyone tries to stop her afterwards, she will even physically attack them by stepping on them, humiliating them and taking pictures of the bullying. Her Shadow is a dominatrix queen that simply exaggerates her negative traits to extreme levels, and shows a lustful side that enjoys making brave and famous men her servants.

At first, Ango appears as a charismatic writer with a massive fanbase in Sendai. He's also quite flirtatious and even attempts to hit on Haru Okumura and give her a kiss on her hand, which she vehemently refuses, and gets annoyed when Ryuji Sakamoto and the protagonist tell that he is overstepping his boundaries with Haru. He's also quite arrogant around his work and would take a great deal in defending it.

Caroline has a very classical tsundere (someone who acts mean-spirited and aloof to disguise any affectionate feelings) attitude towards the protagonist. Additionally, she doesn't seem to hold the protagonist in very high regard, as she refers to him as "inmate," and kicks him into the Velvet Room whenever he goes to enter. She is generally ill-tempered and impatient, even after the twins' Confidant levels up and she grows to respect the protagonist as a friend. There are certain inconsistencies between how she seems and her real personality, and as according to Justine, she was mortified when she first witnessed Persona fusion and practiced intimidating poses to use on the protagonist but is too embarrassed to use them. She tends to speak to Justine in a demeaning manner.
Justine, in contrast, appears to be calm and soft-spoken, but still treats the protagonist as her prisoner, often addressing him in a condescending tone. Unlike her sister, she will calmly escort the player to their cell. She is the first to question what their true purpose is, and realizes something is amiss with possessing an intricate bookmark but having no books to read. While guarding an entrance to the Velvet Room, she whittles away at her boredom by spinning her clipboard.

None.
Chihaya is a cheerful woman with a lovely atmosphere about her, with a rumor of her fortunes being infallible. This is the most accurate as her predictions have an uncanny ability to be properly divined down to the most minute details. As a result, she can be fatalistic in her belief that fates cannot be changed even when giving her clients readings with terrible outcomes, as most have inexplicably resulted in such a way.
Her time spent with the protagonist begins to change these feelings as he and the Phantom Thieves of Hearts alter the fates of many of her clients. She is initially frustrated and suspicious about this, but soon comes to realize that this implies a better world than she had thought. She has a tendency to lapse into her native rural accent if sufficiently upset or otherwise emotionally flustered.

With a case of social anxiety bordering on agoraphobia developed from the trauma of losing her mother Wakaba Isshiki, combined with her generally introverted personality, Futaba is strongly discomforted by going outside. When the protagonist first meets her, she is a shut-in who does not attend school and almost never leaves her room. She communicates with the world remotely via the Internet, and her adoptive father Sojiro Sakura enables her lifestyle out of guilt that he could not protect her from trauma. Having disconnected herself from humanity and the world beyond her apartment, Futaba suffers from suicidal depression, crippling bouts of anxiety and would freak out instantly when seeing unknown people inside Sojiro's house. When first encountered, Futaba is so consumed with self-loathing that she suppresses her desire to live, causing her Shadow Self to develop a much more helpful personality than average, one who only desires Futaba's happiness. Prior to her Change of Heart, she thinks that her room is the only place she actually feels safe to dwell within due to the frequent hallucinations she has about Wakaba bearing hatred on her.

In public, Madarame comes off as polite, humble, and soft-spoken with a passion for the arts and pride in his impressive collection of art over the years. In truth, Madarame is an amoral, greedy con man with an extremely self-centered view of the world and a bloated sense of self-importance, believing that he is a "God of the Art World" despite all of his current "works" are just his pupil's work with his name slapped on it. Having suffered years of artist's block, Madarame resorted to extortion of his pupils to maintain his fame and cast them away the minute they were of no use to him. He is also not as poor or humble in his origins as he claims to be, as he owns a luxury car and a mansion.

Yoshizawa is a cheerful, elegant and friendly person with a seemingly perfect life, as she received a Shujin scholarship and was nearly uncontested in gymnastic competitions. She also appears to be quite clumsy and careless, as she is shown outright missing the mark at the batting cages even if her reflexes are usually excellent, and she lets her phone's battery run out while texting the protagonist. Despite the fact that she can cook, she is unpredictable and somewhat awkward at it, since she isn't sure about the ingredients, and she often uses stamina replenishing food due to her gymnastic tendencies. She has high metabolism, and as such can put away a large amount of food and still ask for seconds. She always refers to her fellow friends as "Senpai" no matter the situation, since she's the youngest member of the Phantom Thieves who has an educative degree.

Kobayakawa is a hedonistic and apathetic man with an overinflated ego who only cares for the reputation of his school and his own status. When eavesdropped in Kichijoji in Royal, he even outright states that he's doing this all for himself, and that people might envy him. Unfortunately, many of his policies do more harm than good, as he is most well known for condoning Kamoshida's heinous crimes (most notably abusing and molesting students in the PE office or any other private area where he believes nobody can see or eavesdrop) simply because he was an Olympic athlete who was supposed to grant the school reputation for high quality volleyball tutoring.

Kunikazu is an ambitious and career-focused professional who is always chasing his next victory. However, for his daughter, his employees and his fellow higher ups, his ambitions come with a complete, deliberate ignorance of the pain he causes to his company or his family. No matter how many scandals Okumura Foods faces due to its poor safety practices and punishing work hours, or how obviously unhappy Haru is with his manipulations, Kunikazu refuses to let his nobler passions influence his business, instead behaving as ruthlessly as he feels he must to get ahead in the world. In fact, his Shadow Self admits that he sees nothing wrong with using Haru as a political pawn, as he believes it is mandatory to use whatever means to gain fame for his own profit, and becomes furious when he realizes Haru is "betraying" him with the assistance of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts because she fully realized that she has been used as a political pawn against her own will.

Lavenza speaks relatively more maturely and politely than the twins, while also retaining certain traits from both. She also refers to the protagonist as “trickster”, instead of “inmate”. Like Justine, she maintains a soft-spoken tone, though without the condescension. Like Caroline, she is shown to lose patience easily, as shown when Ryuji expresses confusion towards her explanation, or when she fails to craft a tool and almost ends up casting Megidolaon on the work table out of frustration. When frustrated, Lavenza may change her vocal tone to match Caroline's. Lavenza may doze off easily when sitting on soft surfaces. She also has a mischievous side, as shown in the Thieves Den when she gives Ann and Makoto permission to sit at Igor's desk while he is away, despite considering doing so a "forbidden ritual."

A perfectionist, Makoto has a strong sense of responsibility and refuses to yield to adversity. She is intelligent, honest, and very hardworking. She also has a compassionate side and reveals herself to be an understanding young lady. But she does have a fierce side to her as well, this side comes out of her when she fights or sometimes when she acts a Phantom Thieve. She's also student council president of Shujin Academy and a member of The Phantom Thieves of Hearts.

Kawakami is a highly competent and professional teacher who never lets her ever-mounting stress and exhaustion show visibly in either of her jobs. She is laid-back and outspoken, once saying "crap" in class.
While she initially acts very coldly towards the protagonist, this was because she thought he was a problem student and felt unfit to deal with the kind of trouble he could bring. After he stands up to Suguru Kamoshida, she realizes that there is more to him than both his criminal record and the rumors showed and thus becomes more understanding and willing to listen, showing her more compassionate and involved side. This coldness also applies to Ryuji as well, as she warns the protagonist to keep their distance from him and that he is nothing but trouble, though this is followed by her seeming sad at how drastically he changed compared to when he was in the track team.

Sae is intelligent, professional and serious, although her actual maturity is debatable. A workaholic, Sae is very strict in both her work as prosecutor and guardian for her younger sister, Makoto, constantly telling her to focus on her studies and such. With many responsibilities, Sae is always working due to Japan's work pressure, and is very stressed and exhausted. She must care for Makoto, almost putting her in a single mother's role. Her father dying in the line of duty and forcing her to raise Makoto acts as her very sore spot. She resents Makoto, as the Niijima sister's father throwing his life away in the name of justice forced her to raise her sister alone. The resentment is so horrible that when Makoto asks for her opinion on whether she would think the Phantom Thieves of Hearts were just, Sae snaps and says a bunch of cruel things that she instantly regrets, up to and including that she views Makoto as a burden.

Shinya is an elementary school boy who plays at the Gigolo arcade of Akihabara, and is known as the gaming genius called "The King." The protagonist meets Shinya in Akihabara at the Gigolo while looking for a firearms instructor to defeat the Shadow Self of Yoshikuni Nejima, a notorious arcade cheat in Shibuya Gigolo (as his cognition of being invincible made his Shadow superhumanly evasive). At first, Shinya is reluctant to teach someone older than him, but upon learning about why the protagonist wants to learn under him, and that he is a student at Shujin, he agrees to teach him, but only on the condition that he receives proof of the Phantom Thieves wanting to deal with the cheater. With help from Futaba hacking into the Gun About website, Shinya agrees to teach the protagonist, and to his surprise, learns that Shinya can be quite foul-mouthed when playing with someone else, as well as a harsh teacher.

Sophia is helpful and supportive by nature, describing herself as a "friend" to anyone who speaks to her, and quick to offer assistance and suggestions for any query posed to her. She also is a bit unperceptive when it comes to organic life forms, not realizing that her rescuers did not understand she was an AI that can only travel outside the Metaverse in digital form. Sophia also seems to be somewhat naïve. This is best shown when she asked Ryuji for something to help with their mission, only for him to jokingly ask for a gold bar; she took his word seriously and ordered one, unknowing that the Phantom Thieves would get in trouble and cause them a great amount of shock. Due to inheriting her creator's mindset herself, she can be surprisingly ruthless at times, initially suggesting a plan to assassinate Alice Hiiragi when asked on her input on how to stop her from abducting people into her Jail, not knowing that killing people is wrong, though she immediately backpedals when the Phantom Thieves react with horror.

Sugimura is shown to be a highly violent and sleazy playboy, as when Haru did not answer his calls for her, he assumed that she was with another man and began to act in a highly abrasive manner. In fact, he is one of the few cases where his cognitive copy doesn't have much differences in personality compared to his real self. His relationship with her is abusive and controlling, having no true affection for Haru besides seeing her as an object he can play with for his pleasure, and even sees no qualms into polygamy. He also acts very hostile towards basically anything that would get in his way, as he shows no mercy to Morgana who attacked his leg when he was harassing Haru by kicking him to a wall. When the party rushes by to assist the two, he even vows to have Okumura take action before leaving.

Takemi is a somewhat eccentric young woman. She dresses like a punk and has a morbid sense of humor, reacting with glee when she gets the protagonist to try out a new medicine, watching him squirm. Due to her bad reputation, she can easily tell when one of her patients has an ulterior motive, as those kinds of patients are all she gets. Her reputation as "the Plague" has made her highly cynical and insecure, claiming that she's only good for making experimental drugs, even after being praised for curing a young girl.

Maruki is a voluntary counselor who cares about the students in the school and sympathizes with Suguru Kamoshida's victims. As a counselor, he is quite friendly to those who reach out to him and is extremely patient, allowing them to control the flow of their conversation. He is alert and quick to pick up on minor comments made by his patients that helps open them up. He is also highly clumsy, quirky and is prone to messing up in comedic situations, unlike most of the other teachers who have no-nonsense, regular personalities.

Yusuke’s entire life’s passion is composed of and surrounded by art. He searches for the aesthetic everywhere in his surroundings, from people to places. He sees every opportunity or challenge presented to him as a way to broaden his horizons, and primarily considers how it will benefit him greatly as an artist. He is captivated by the painting of “Sayuri,” and seeks to capture the sense of beauty that it portrays. This passion extends to his mentor, Madarame, who he believed created the painting and who took him in when he was young, completely ignorant that he is being used for Madarame's own profit. As such, Yusuke greatly admired and respected him to the point that he vehemently denied any of the rumors surrounding Madarame.

While Zenkichi's appearance and demeanor suggests he is untrustworthy, he is actually deceptively intelligent and easygoing, and doesn't conceal any hidden motives. However, Zenkichi also has a comical side to him, having a tendency to panic or overreact when he's caught off guard that usually involves him speaking while shouting in dismay, most prominently seen in Sendai when he scared a child while trying to help him find his mother because he was screaming at his fellow backup officers when they turn him down.

Ai is a highly materialistic girl with a prima donna complex, who often talks down to her admirers, and has no qualms with outwardly insulting them, deeming their confessions worthless if their looks aren't up to par with her standards. She is also extremely selfish, but being with the protagonist reveals her to be a shy person and a sweet, loving soul; she harbors a crush on either Kou Ichijo or Daisuke Nagase, depending on the player's sports club choice. She fears rejection and can act irrationally upon receiving it, such as culminating in an attempt to jump off the school roof after learning her feelings for her crush are unrequited. She puts herself through various trials to become more appealing to her choice, and appears so desperate for love that she tries to sway the protagonist into an eventually temporary relationship with her after comforting her heartbroken state.

Contrary to his appearance, Daisuke is rather calm and reserved, especially in comparison to the more cheerful and enthusiastic Kou, though he does tend to be blunt and irritable. His fear of failure causes him to not put his full effort into anything, though this ultimately changes through the interactions with the protagonist.

A snobbish, judgmental and archaic man, Morooka is known to express his hatred towards what teenage culture has evolved into, and scorns his students for being dull and obsessed with technology. In reality, Morooka is all bark and no bite; he seems to just disdain pop culture under the premise of it contaminating his rural culture and nothing else, when he hypocritically participates in it, being a closet fan of Rise Kujikawa. Due to her larger Plume of Dusk, Labrys' personality developed quicker than the other mechanical maidens. She is a caring individual who doesn't want to hurt, let alone kill, anyone she cares about. When she thought she was the human student council president, she was serious, strict, and responsible.
The growth of her ego can be observed within Labrys' thoughts. Moments after her first activation, Labrys' thoughts are extremely simple to understand and consist of the usual technical statements. The more Plumes of Dusk she absorbs, Labrys becomes increasingly eloquent and starts to develop emotions, eventually culminating in her friendship with Unit #024. Even more interestingly, this does not apply to her speech that much since she speaks with an accent directly after her activation.

Margaret is a professional and quiet individual and is significantly more mature than her younger siblings Elizabeth, Theodore and Lavenza, although she shares Elizabeth's sense of humor. However, she does show an angry side to her in Persona Q when Theodore accidentally gets her hair wet and in Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth when Caroline and Justine had a Fusion Accident. She is highly concerned about the relationship Elizabeth established with the protagonist of Persona 3, as she decided to leave the Velvet Room in order to find a way to rescue him from his fate. This also makes it clear that Margaret is highly loyal to her master Igor. She can also be quite scary when she is angry, as even the usually haughty and arrogant Caroline and Justine wouldn't dare anger her.

Mitsuo is self-centered, delusional, attention-dependent and aggressive. He is quite immature and often throws tantrums if something upsets him, such as when his Shadow starts implying that he is nothing more than a copycat wanting attention. His social skills are incredibly poor, and for one time he's tried to hit on Yukiko, he's been notably bad at it, since he merely stalks her and takes photographs of her with her friends, while harboring hatred for everyone else. Naoki can't move forward from the death of his older sister, Saki. He is emotionally distant and numb to his classmates and neighbors due to being pitied and gossiped about respectively. At times, he is unsure if what he is doing in school is right or wrong due to his classmates lacking the heart to fault him for his actions due to his family situation. He hated Yosuke (possibly because he encouraged Saki to work for Junes) and therefore the protagonist for being friends with Yosuke.

Rise is cheerful, outspoken, naughty, cute and is quite boastful about herself, although very sweet deep down. She is referred to as a "dangerous girl" by Chie Satonaka, due to her boldness in flirting with the protagonist, her teasing of Yosuke Hanamura and Kanji Tatsumi. Rise is quickly annoyed by the smallest things, which ends up with her crying dramatically, and sometimes producing crocodile tears. She's rather childish and possessive; she once pouted and told the protagonist he mustn't call another girl "cute." She has also shown her competitive side on many occasions, and she’s mocked Yukiko Amagi’s insecurity and her cooking. Along with Yukiko, and Naoto Shirogane, she cries when the protagonist leaves Inaba, and she'll profess her love to him. This, combined with her Arcana being The Lovers, her flirting and certain scenes in Persona 4 The Animation show her affection for the protagonist. Rise states that she loves the protagonist, and will show a very obvious interest in him during the storyline regardless of her Social Link standing.[1] Her cooking skills like Chie and Yukiko are horrific and is prone to making overly spicy food, as shown in her Omelet that she made for Nanako to celebrate Mitsuo's arrest.

Since Saki dies quite early into the game, most of her personality and daily behavior is unknown, and she was unable to provide any first-hand accounts herself. The only information that the protagonist gets about her is from Yosuke and Naoki Konishi, the former being her co-worker and the latter being her brother. Naoki sees her as a playful yet surprisingly mature individual, and after coming to terms with his feelings, realizes that he misses her dearly.
At first, she seems like a kind person who was nice and supportive to Yosuke. However, it is revealed that she was actually annoyed with Yosuke and quite stressed about her life, with a lot of pent-up angst and a desire to get away from it all. It is also revealed that she believed her family, friends, and neighbors had resented her all along because she worked at Junes, the giant store that was slowly driving her family's liquor shop out of business.

She is prone to doing very strange and socially unacceptable things, such as breaking into the protagonist's room to wake him up and requesting to be on standby in their room, which Yukari calls her out for. A video recording shows that she has a habit of breaking into his dorm room at night in order to check on him, even going so far as to keep a record of how long it takes her to pick the lock. As a result of having no emotions, Aigis' social skills are more-or-less non-existent; it's frequently noted on-screen that while she may look human, she is far from passing as such. Lack of social grace notwithstanding, Aigis is nonetheless very polite to everybody, always using the honorific '-san' when addressing them.

A cool and well-respected upperclassman, Akihiko is serious and determined, as well as cracking small jokes on small occasions. Of all members of the group, he is the most prone to sarcasm, one instance being if the protagonist talks to him while he and Junpei are taking a break from studying for first semester midterms, stating that Junpei isn't studying for his exams as Mitsuru told everyone to go back to their routines.
Akihiko also has an aggressive side, which he usually demonstrates when dealing with Shadows. He never gives up and always tries to get stronger in order to protect what is dear to him and feels guilty for not being able to save his sister, Miki, from the fire. As he puts it, he knows what it's like to feel powerless and he never wants to feel that way again, though this often results in him overworking himself due to feelings of self-doubt.
He acts like an older brother for the younger S.E.E.S. members and especially in Persona 3 Portable if the player chooses to play as the female protagonist, Akihiko is shown to care a lot about her. This fits with his Arcana being the Emperor, which represents fathering and relates to leadership and decision-making skills.
Akihiko is often depicted as aloof, and, in some cases, completely unaware of his fanbase of female students, who often follow him around school. He finds this irritating and will sometimes complain to the protagonist about it, saying they talk so much that they give him a headache.

He is a cheery, kind foreign student, who speaks in a French accent and who is infinitely fascinated by Japanese culture and enjoys fashion design. Bebe is somewhat lonely in Japan, and is extremely pleased to have someone he can consider as a friend. Chidori's personality is like a "gothic-lolita." She has a very soft-sounding voice and loves to draw. Chidori believes that only she can understand her own sketches. She fears attachment because she is afraid of loss and the pain that comes with it. Without a strong reason to live, Chidori is similar to the protagonist in that they are very indifferent to death; Chidori feels all death means is just "not waking up anymore".

The treasurer for the Student Council. Chihiro is a very shy individual, she is not comfortable around men and has trouble standing up for herself. Elizabeth is cheery, inquisitive, friendly, silly, humorous, easily excited and fun-loving. She serves Igor and takes responsibility for her duty in the Velvet Room. Elizabeth's tendencies to act on impulse and to not take dangerous things and situations seriously often results in either baffling or even enraging (often the enemy) those involved in the crisis with her surprisingly cool demeanor. However, she is often humorously disrespectful towards her brother Theodore, such as feeding dog food to him without his prior knowledge and in the Q series, would often force him to wear strange clothing when he is in charge of a service.

Jin's most prominent trait is his loyalty to Takaya, to the degree of zealotry. Jin shows to be quite intelligent, being the information gatherer of Strega and web author of the Revenge Request website. He is very adept at locating their victims. Although, despite his intelligence, Jin is shown to have a very aggressive disposition as well as sharing the same misanthropic views as Takaya, though he is more rational than the latter, acting as a voice of reason to Takaya's more impulsive behavior. He dislikes SEES, calling them hypocrites and will insult or engage in battle with them every chance he gets. Also in SEES' battle with Jin, if he is near his defeat, he will complain that he lost to "these amateurs" again, despite not having actually lost yet. This would make Jin an example of an enemy who knows when he's beaten.

Metis has a childlike personality, to the point of being compared to a child by Junpei, something she takes offense to. She recognizes Aigis as her "sister," and as a result tries to protect her from harm. She cares for Aigis deeply and is willing to do anything to protect her, even if it means she'll hate her for it. This is shown when she attempted to kill the other members of SEES, whom she believed (correctly) were responsible for the Abyss of Time's manifestation. She also gets angry when Akihiko suspects her of having an ulterior motive for protecting Aigis, insisting that she's doing it because she cares about her and nothing more.

Ikutsuki, as the adviser of SEES, is a polite and sophisticated man, never needing to change his tone or manner. He is friendly, always accompanied with a gentle smile and a set of bad puns and unfunny jokes to provide comedy relief when it is needed, and perhaps not needed. As seen in the video recordings, he may also sometimes write down some puns on his status reports even if they are unwarranted or unrelated to the subject. Ikutsuki knows more than he lets on, but nonetheless he is the main source of knowledge for the group regarding all things related to the Dark Hour and thus acts as guidance for SEES.
After the defeat of the twelve Shadows, he shows a very different side of him to the party at the entrance of Tartarus. He was actually a manipulative, nihilistic and omnicidal maniac with a twisted savior complex, bearing a complete lack of remorse for the sake of complete and utter world annihilation through supernatural means. He is in fact, far from the chairman SEES knew, something Aigis comments on if asked by the protagonist. He then becomes hostile, attempting to kill the ones who relied on him and thought of him as a trustworthy figure. Once that fails, he chose to jump off the roof of Tartarus and committed suicide for good, out of lunatic fervor.

In Takaya's first appearance, where he was on a "mission" with his fellow members, he is shown to be cold and indifferent, mocking and pointing at his victim with his gun. When asked by his victim why he is doing this, Takaya says that it is not the victim's concern and even justifies his action by saying that "people hear what they wish to hear and believe what they want to believe."

Tatsuya Suou is the primary protagonist of Persona 2: Innocent Sin. Following the tradition of Shin Megami Tensei series, he is a silent protagonist, and some aspects of his personality, including his sexual orientation, are determined by the player's in-game actions and decisions. The most salient event regarding his sexuality occurs after the Shadow Lisa fight, where the player may choose to express feelings for one of his party members. If the player selects Jun Kurosu, then Tatsuya and Jun are treated as lovers. He has a more established history and personality than most other silent protagonists in the franchise, due in no small part to his ability to speak in Eternal Punishment. A distinct characteristic of his present in both Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment is his habit of flicking the engraved Zippo lighter Jun gifted to him as a child open and closed. While Tatsuya lost Jun's Zippo lighter in the Eternal Punishment timeline (since they never met in this reality and thus never exchange gifts), he keeps this habit by using a new, silver-colored Zippo lighter he bought somewhere. He's also an avid motorcycle enthusiast, and owns a bike of his own in both continuities. Because he is often seen performing maintenance work on his bike and works part time as a mechanic, rumors from Seven Sisters eventually give him the ability to flawlessly pilot any vehicle in Innocent Sin, which he carries over to Eternal Punishment as the Tatsuya from the "Other Side;" the Tatsuya of “This Side," however, has no such ability.

Jun is a rather warm and caring person who is highly protective of his friends, particularly Tatsuya Suou, whom he had forged a tight bond with since they were children. Hobby-wise, Jun understands flower language (花言葉, hanakotoba) and likes astrology. He is also highly intelligent and philosophical; he has a patent for an orthopedic shoe, loves inventing and excels at math and physics. However, due to his antisocial nature, he doesn't like group sports and instead prefers walking.
Jun is heavily implied to be gay, and his present feelings for Tatsuya are suggested to have extended back to their childhood; he's flustered at Maya's insistence that the two of them are alike, and is generally very happy to be likened to Tatsuya. As teenagers, Jun asks Tatsuya out to dinner, assures Tatsuya that he will never leave his side, and is considered a serious competitor alongside Lisa for Tatsuya's affections. The player may have Tatsuya choose to confess feelings for Jun, in which case Tatsuya and Jun will be treated as lovers. Jun is also repeatedly stated to have no attraction to women, as evidenced by in-game demon contacts.

Because of this, she was excited to once again do the demon-summoning game "Persona" that her classmates were pulled into because of Masao Inaba and Hidehiko Uesugi's silly bet. Eriko played along despite having done the game prior to see how her classmates would react to the result. She was nonetheless shocked to see her classmates forcibly sent to the realm bordering consciousness and unconsciousness after being hit by lightning.

She was an ex-yankī who was reformed thanks to the efforts of her teacher Saeko Takami. Though she hasn't shed her yankī looks just yet, Yukino is well-recognized and trusted by the student body, acting as a mother figure of sorts to her friends. She is oftentimes the straight man during sillier moments, often pointing out the absurdity of some of the fantasy-like aspects of the events in the first game, sometimes getting close to fourth-wall breaking. Even though she is one of the more mature and level headed members of the party, Yukino can still be quick to anger and a little vulgar when people or things she cares about are threatened.

Zen is calm and silent. He is overprotective of Rei and loses his collected facade when she is in danger, going so far as to threaten Teddie with his crossbows when he believes he is insulting her. Most of the others treat Zen's dedication toward Rei as mutually platonic, taking it as a given that they are in a friendship. Teddie, in contrast, compares the protectiveness to a father/daughter relation, saying that it is often heart-wrenching for a father to see his daughter grow up so quickly. However, neither dynamic is confirmed or denied by Zen himself. Despite ultimately wishing for Rei's happiness, he is willing to sacrifice it for her greater good.

Hikari is a young woman that, at the start of the game suffers from extreme depression and self-esteem issues due to her bad past, where she would often be a target of emotional abuse or manipulation due to not thinking or acting in the same way as others around her, complete with a lack of social skills that prevent her from getting her message clear. While not directly stated to be suicidal, she has self-destructive tendencies and wished that anything that would make her stand out from others to be gone as she thinks that those led to people hating on her. As a result of the bad experiences around others, she displays extreme social anxiety and simply shuts down when facing the slightest amount of stress, being completely incapable of directly speaking to people. Usually, she just lowers her head with her eyes shut or stares blankly at a direction, which she does less frequently as the story advances.

At first glance, Nagi appears as kind and caring, especially towards Hikari. Hikari views her as a comforting figure and the only person that she could vent her hardships to, and thus always stands by her. She seems to be able to sympathize with Hikari's hardships and appears to be saddened when she hears of her desires to discard herself. She also seems to be very polite, as she uses the most formal first personal pronoun, "watakushi" to refer to herself. She would congratulate the party when they clear a labyrinth and seemingly lets them do whatever they want to do to escape the cinema claiming that she didn't have a choice, which in fact, holds true even if she drops off her guise, as she technically allows her clients to leave whatever time they want to and it was their cognition that prevented them from considering leaving.
