Ryuji may act like a delinquent but he is caring about his friends. Like his best friend, Alexis. Ryuji has a broken femur bone which causes him to limp. Because of his broken femur bone, not only does his right leg hurt, but his hip also hurts. But he doesn't care about being in pain when it comes to Alexis being hurt. He would do everything to save her and protect her.
