Pento Danganronpa
Project Overview
Danganronpa: Pento is a audio-type Danganronpa fan project. The syste consists of 16 students trapped within a specially built school and tasked with killing each other. Directed by cloverfish (slothislazy), we are not directly affiliated with Spike Chunsoft or the Danganronpa Franchise.
Auditioning Information:
Danganronpa: Pento may delve deep into some sensitive an dpossibly triggering topics, all warnings from any Danganronpa game apply.
The age limit for this project is 16+, when auditioning, please state your name, age (if you're a minor and uncomfortable with stating age, you can simply say minor.) Please state discord username as discord is required for this project. This currently is a short-term role, but you may be asked to come back in the near future. Please read lines in ABCABC order.

FOR THOSE FAMILAR WITH TETRO DANGANRONPA
This project originally started as a restoration attempt of Tetro, but throughout the development, it was changed to become it's own original fangan. You may see similar ideas to Tetro (Names, Talents, etc), but Pento is it's own original story worked on by a talented team who wish to tell the best story possible.

Kobayashi finds himself trapped within piles of books. He's always been focused on his academics, it takes out time for him to socialize and make friends. Kobayashi doesn't always pick up on social cues and can come off as a prick sometimes, he's very awkward and anxious. He has a soft, medium to deep voice, he constantly sounds like he's on edge.

Shihori has not discovered what a joke is yet. She's the tutor that gets hired when grades really start to slip. No excuses, no fun, straight to business. Outside of her work, she's less condescending. She might actually laugh at something. Shihori takes pride in holding people accountable, maybe not the friend you want, but the one you might need.
Shihori requires a large range in emotional capacity, please note before applying.
Her voice is very nonspecific, a soft voice will do. Think of an english teacher.

Tensei is a shut-in. The only time he (willingly) goes outside is so he can go to work. He only works so he can blast his paycheck on cosplays and in-game currency. Despite this, Tensei doesn't completely lack social skills and is somewhat pleasant to talk to. He loves to go online to talk with his friends about his favorite games and topics, he can and will argue with you if he doesn't agree with what you're saying.
Higher male voice, normal sounding. (Take that as you will.)
"I think my Azusa cosplay is my favorite, there wasn't one available so I had to have one commissioned. Costed me nearly a grand."
"It tastes a little funny, but I think I'll be fine."
"Nah, Maelle was meta for a while, but then the developers dropped Ema and it kicked her out the meta. Ema is literally just a better Maelle in every single way, higher DPS, more HP, better support capabilities, and Ema's ultimate is wayyy better. Every patch, Ema keeps getting microbuffs that keep making her more and more busted and honestly, I think someone on the dev team has a crush on her."

Yuka is extremely sweet and caring, if you can find her that is. She doesn't like going outside that often, you'll most likely find her in her room planning something for her next stream. Yuka loves to have everything planned out before time because she is horrible at improvising. She works very hard as her own independent streamer, and she won't let anything stop her.
Yuka's voice should be on the higher side, she should still sound bubbly.
She will require a wide emotional range, please take note before applying.

Kotori is what happens when the law fails. She does not consider anything except her own input on what she thinks is right or wrong, and you don't want to be wrong in her eyes. Outside of that, she's probably the best friend you can ask for.

Kanamitsu could not care less, you can't know the true meaning behind his words by taking them at face value. He comes off as sarcastic and a bit rude. The only thing that Kanamitsu takes pride in is his work as an artist, but again, he refuses to work for anyone full-time because having a boss sounds like too much work.
Kanamitsu voice is masculine, but monotone. A black voice actor would be preferred.

Natsuka has been around camera's all her life. Arrogance comes with fame, Natsuka is bratty, can't stand being told no, and thinks everyone is below her. Unless you feel like enabling every action she takes, she's horrible to talk to.
Natsuka's voice is very high pitched, carries the popular girl accent. Think of the most annoying girl you know.
Natsuka requires a very large emotional range, please be aware before applying.

Natsu is upbeat and one of the sweetest boys you'll ever meet. Once you get him started on the topic of nature, he'll never stop. Although, he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, his compassion makes up for it tenfold.

Kinji is complicated. He started his business from the ground, he credits his success to all the hard work he and only himself put in. He refuses to talk to anyone he views as inferior, inferior being anyone who he believes doesn't work hard at all. He becomes a little more pleasurable to talk to when he likes you, but he still is insufferable.
Kinji has a higher pitched male voice, interpret as you will.

Miharu is full of bad ideas, she acts first and asks questions later. She'll do anything for an adrenaline rush. Outside of actively putting her life in danger, she is very laidback and a go with the flow type of person. Miharu is confident that nothing can hurt her, she can be very convincing and sometimes pushy to get people to do things.
Miharu has a feminine medium-low voice, laidback and a bit on the older then the rest of the students (early 20s.)
You don't necessarily need a large emotional range, but be able to cry while recording.
An adult is preferred.

Keishi is a smartass. Whenever he enters a room, he automatically assumes nobody else is half as smart as he is. Despite this, Keishi is very quick to anger. He takes offense to anything that remotely insults his intelligence. Keishi is nicer to people he believes is below him, since he believes there's nothing they can do to him that he can't see coming.
Keishi has a medium-high male voice, he sounds nerdy but shouldn't sound like the stereotypical nerdy guy.
Be ready to yell, with the occasional crying. Keishi is also very vulgar.

"She can be as loud as she damn wants dude, aslong as she's not yelling at me I don't care.

Tamayo is basically your mother. She loves taking care of other people even if it comes at her own expense. She is intelligent, confident, and loves to talk. Tamayo is great with children, her voice is soothing enough to have even the rowdiest of kids calm down. Her friends accidentally call her "mom" from time to time.
Tamayo has a medium-low pitch voice, she should sound calming. She is the 2nd oldest second in the cast (23)
An adult is preferred.

Sosuke lacks confidence in himself, he tries to avoid responsibility because he doubts he could do it. The only thing he has confidence is, is his ability to put on a good show. He tries to motivate people so they don't feel the same way he does about himself.

Matsuko is very mysterious. She rarely talks and is generally not around. Whenever Matsuko talks, her voice is barely above a whisper. She mainly does work for horror movies, which she seems to enjoy. Matsuko sometimes gets caught staring and sneaking around corners.
Matsuko has a medium-high voice, you should sound like you're whispering whenever you talk (It should still be audible though.)

Masato can see things that others can't... according to him. Masato tells people that he can talk to spirits, if you're lucky, you can catch him talking to himself (or the spirits?). He cannot give you a straight answer on how to exorcise a demon, and Masato gets really defensive when you confront him about it. You didn't hear this from me, but he MIGHT be a fraud.
