Singers for an Instrumental

I’m looking for up to 5 volunteer singers to sing along to an instrumental song:

1. Ideally, you are a really good singer capable of holding a note, while singing loudly from the heart for a relatively long period of time (3-4 seconds). There are other notes, but the note you will be singing the longest is D# (D-sharp) or E-Flat.

2. You are a passionate singer and are able to relay it through your voice and capture the audience.

3. You have the time and interest in delivering your audio to this project as soon as possible, ideally, within 2 weeks.

4. You are able to sing along and in-sync with the instrumental provided and have it sound as if it’s part of the song. I will provide the instructions needed.

5. You are able to and will deliver your singing audio as a separate audio file from the instrumental so I can add it (along with the others) to the audio file. This file will be free from any background noise and is able to clearly relay the words of your voice.

6. You will send samples first before the final version(s) for feedback.

7. You understand this is an experimental project on my end and, depending on the outcome, it may or may not be published or your specific audio may not be used.

8. In your audition please show your lowest and highest pitch range as well as the length or time you can hold a pitch (like D#) OR you may send past samples of you singing a song showing your vocals and range as I can easily decide that way as well.

1. The song will only have one lyric.

3. You will be credited as being one of the singers in the song.

5. I’m am looking for male, female, and androgynous voices.

6. After being selected/considered, there is no requirement to sign up to any external apps; communication through here or email with a download link for the audio files is all that is required; however, if we need to communicate more efficiently, which is recommended, we will discuss more through email, Session (preferred), or Element https://app.element.io/ username and ID is in my profile.

7. Ideally, we are looking to complete this within a couple weeks after project deadline and after all audio is selected.

8. Audio will only be used by project creator for what’s specified in this project as per the terms and conditions and the law, so please don’t ask, and it is expected this to be reciprocated with what is shared as well.
