Passerine (AO3 MCYT Voice Over Project)
Project Overview
Hey, I'm Bandit and I need voice actors! I've been wanting to do a reading of Passerine for a while now but never had enough people interested. SO I come to casting call club in search of voice actors and people who are down to be along for the ride!
There are few requirements:
- At least 15 years or older
- Ok with Graphic depiction of voice
- Ok with Major character death
- Ok with excessive amounts of vulgar language
- Be able to cry (and or sound sad)
- and Have a discord (not really a requirement but would make communication easier)
With that being said and done here is the story and I hope to be working with you in the future!

Your role as the narrator is to well narrate. I'm looking for something calm and inviting but can give emotion if needed.
He must have had a life before this. A mother, a father, a home. Maybe sisters, or brothers. But it had been so long—too long—and now all he knew was this bloody game. His hands knew no other shape than fists curled tightly around a sword, swinging eternally, finding its mark through skin and bone.
Technoblade had begun to imagine a ruthless man—an immortal butcher with the same wretched grin as his. But Philza was not an avenging angel. He was just Philza.
Technoblade is a blunt, standoffish, presumptuous immortal man who's been on this earth for many eons.
In terms of tone of voice for techno, I'm looking for a mid-tone.
"I have no business, I am visiting. Sightseeing. I'm a traveler."
"I didn't mean to drop by." "I didn't know this place was yours. I can leave, if you-"
"What will you have me do?" "What can you expect from me, Phil?"
Philza is a kind, gentle and caring man who'd protect his family at any and all costs.
In terms of tone of voice for Phil, I'm looking for a mid-low tone.
"Stories are curious things." "Some of them are true..." "and some of them are not."
"Old Friend, It's nice to see you again."
"They're a handful." "Wilbur was quieter before Tommy was born. A little bookworm holed up in his room all day. But I have a feeling that you didn't drop by for silly stories like that."
Tommy is just a typical kid, he's rambunctious and he's excitable.
In terms of voice, I am looking for a high tone.
“And this Techno fellow, he’s a bit of an odd one, isn’t he? Will he be training me, too? Will I have to wake up at dawn like Wilbur?”
“Good night, then! Early to bed, early to the prize, as they always say!”
"Did he cry?"
much like Tommy, Wil is just your typical teenager, he's standoffish and he's closed off.
In terms of voice, I'm looking for a mid-high tone.
“Have you come to have an audience with our father?”
“First you are a visitor and now you are a traveler.” “This exchange would be much easier if we knew your name.”
Tommy as he got older only grew more kind and caring, albeit even more energetic and an annoyance.
In terms of voice, I'm looking for a mid high tone.
“What’re you doing?” “You’ve been here all day, you know, missed breakfast and lunch.”
“Kingdom’s on fire,” “Rioting in the streets. The guards are staging a coup. Techno is leading them.”
The queen is a soft spoken, caring and kind woman.
In terms of voice I picture her to have a mid-deep tone and that you can hear her smile in her voice.
“You must be Technoblade,” “I do apologize that it has taken us this long to be acquainted, though Phil has been telling me of all you have done for our Wilby.”
“Loyalty is a rather precious gift.” “I do hope, my boy,” “that you will find the people you can trust more than your own name. You deserve that, and more, for all you have done for my family.”
“And I trust all they’ve said is in my favor, yes? Nothing about how sharp my tongue can be when I’m cranky?”
Niki is a sweet and gentle girl with a sense of justice.
In terms of tone of voice for Niki, I'm looking for a mid-high softer tone.
"It's pretty tragic, isn't it?" "Morning glories. They wilt the same day they bloom, lasting only the sunset."
“No, don’t be. I would be the world’s biggest hypocrite if I told you off for picking flowers.” “I own a flower shop, back in the city.”
“You know, Your Highness,” “you remind me of someone. He’s a soldier in this camp, and about your age, as well. He’s off somewhere training right now, but I have this feeling that if you’d only meet, you’d make good friends.”
Toby is a young teen, who has a taste for action, and wants to fight in the war.
In terms of voice I am looking for a mid high soft spoken tone.
“I can’t,” “You need to protect yourself—”
“What’s your name?”
“I’ll see you later, Niki,"
The Captain is a badass war hero who stands her ground, and doesn't take shit from anybody.
In terms of voice for The Captain, I'm looking for a Mid Tone.
“Sir, yes, sir!” “Are you alright?”
“That was your bloody General,” “So you can stop cowering in your corner now. The Blade has just joined the fight.”
The Older Wilbur got the more distant he became, he's bitter and he became more closed off.
In terms of voice, I'm looking for a mid tone.
“Gods, Tommy.” “Will you ever grow out of your hero-worship of him?”
“No,” “That was Father.”
“It’s alright, Tommy, there’s no need to apologize.” “He abandoned you, too.”
He is a vengeful god, seeking out who made him who he is.
In terms of voice, I'm looking for a mid tone.
“Me? No, no, I’m merely a pawn in this game. A pawn with a grudge to settle, but still a pawn nonetheless.” “Now, show me what he taught you, king.”
“I would state the obvious,” “But this is a purely personal affair.”
